Xu Wenhui
Xu Wenhui (may 1939 - September 28, 2020), daughter of founding General Xu Haidong, was born in Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. He was admitted to Beijing Institute of Aeronautics in 1958, transferred to Shanghai Second Military Medical University in 1960, and joined the Communist Party of China the next year. After graduating as a "three good student" in 1965, he was assigned to work in the General Hospital of Beijing Military Region and has been engaged in medical work. He once served as the chairman of the choir of the descendants of the founding fathers and the president of the Beijing founding fathers Culture Promotion Association.
On September 28, 2020, Xu Wenhui died of illness in Beijing Navy General Hospital at the age of 81.
