King Ying
King Ying was the title of Zhu Qiyu (September 21, 1428 - March 14, 1457), the emperor of Ming Dynasty, before he ascended the throne. After the change of seizing the door in 1457, Yingzong of Ming Dynasty was restored and was still granted the title of King Ying. After Zhu Qiyu died, the king of Ying did not inherit.
Life
After emperor Yingzong (orthodox emperor) ascended the throne, he was granted the title of King Ying. In 1449, after Yingzong of Ming Dynasty was captured by Wala in "the change of Tu Bu", King Ying was supported as emperor by Yu Qian and other ministers. He was named Jingtai. He respected Yingzong as the supreme emperor and his son Zhu Jianshen as the crown prince.
After Zhu Qiyu ascended the throne, he became the Minister of the Ministry of war, smashed Wala's attack on Beijing (Shuntian), and forced Wala to return to Yingzong. In August of the first year of Jingtai (1450), Yingzong returned to Beijing. Qi Yu was afraid of Yingzong's restoration, so he put him under house arrest in the palace, which was strictly controlled by the royal guards. The Palace door was not only locked, but also filled with lead. Food could only be delivered through a small hole.
In the third year of Jingtai, Daizong abolished Zhu Jianshen's position as the crown prince and made his son Zhu Jianji the crown prince. However, Zhu Jianji died the following year.
In January 1457, Daizong was critically ill. On the 16th, Cao Jixiang, Shi Heng, Xu Youzhen and others attempted to restore Yingzong. On the morning of the 17th, they launched a change of seizing the gate and led the warriors to attack the Fengtian Hall of the Forbidden City. Daizong was demoted to King Ying and put under house arrest in Xiyuan. He died more than a month later at the age of 28. The cause of Jingdi's death is unknown. It is said that Jingdi was murdered. After the death of emperor Jing, he was buried in the Jingtai mausoleum in the western suburb of Jinshan (north of Yuquan mountain), where his concubines died.
Yingzong hated emperor Jingdi's treatment, posthumously named Li, known as Yingli king. In the Chenghua period of emperor Xianzong of Ming Dynasty, he was named emperor Gongren kangdingjing. In July of the first year of Hongguang reign of the Southern Ming Dynasty, Yichou went to the temple and was named Daizong. His posthumous title was in line with Tianjian Dao, Gongren, Kangding, longwenbu, wuxiande and chongxiaojing emperor. In the Qing Dynasty, the posthumous title was Emperor Gongren kangdingjing. Most of the Ming and Qing history books call Ming Zong emperor Jing.
