Ma Rong is a powerful family, and there are many singers and dancers in his family. Lu Zhi has studied in Ma Rong's family for many years, but he never glanced at it. Therefore, Ma Rong has great admiration for Lu Zhi.
After Lu Zhi completed his studies, he returned to his hometown Zhuoxian to teach. His disciples included Liu Bei, Liu deran, Gong sunzan and Gao you.
In 168, the first year of emperor Hanling's Jianning reign, Dou Wu, the father of empress Dou, was worshipped as a great general because he helped emperor Hanling Liu Hong to ascend the throne. At that time, Dou Wu wanted to be knighted for his people. Lu Zhi wrote to Dou Wu as a cloth to dissuade Dou Wu from being knighted, but Dou Wu didn't listen. Later, Dou Wu was killed in the coup of 1911 in September that year.
be adept with both the pen and the sword
After that, Lu Zhi was recruited by the prefectures many times, and he should not. It was not until Jianning (168-172) that he was recruited as a doctor that he began his official career.
In the fourth year of Xiping (175), the barbarians in Jiujiang County of Yangzhou rebelled. The imperial court believed that Lu Zhi had both literature and martial arts, so it worshipped him as the prefect of Jiujiang county. After Lu Zhi took office, he soon put down the rebellion. After that, Lu Zhi resigned for health reasons.
In the same year, the proposal of collating Confucian classics initiated by Cai Yong and Li Xun was approved by the imperial court, and it will be set up in the form of a stone tablet at the gate of Taixue, which is known as "Xiping Shijing" or "Taixue Shijing". Lu Zhi took the initiative to submit a letter and offered himself.
Later, another barbarian rebellion took place in Lujiang County. Because Lu Zhi was the prefect of Jiujiang County, the imperial court worshipped him as the prefect of Lujiang County again because of his kindness, prestige and loyalty to the local people.
More than a year later, Lu Zhi was recalled to the imperial court as Yilang. Together with Ma RIYUAN, Cai Yong, Yang Biao, Han Shuo and others, he collated Confucian classics in Dongguan, and took part in the continuation of Hanji (known as dongguanhanji in History). However, Liu Hong thought that writing a book was not an important job, so he worshipped him as a minister.
Eight things about Chen
On February 1, the first year of Guanghe (178), there was a solar eclipse in the sky. Lu Zhi wrote a letter about this, and Chen said that the political leaders put forward eight strategies: < ol > < li > to use good people: let the prefectures and counties appoint good people, and then appoint them. < li > < li > the original ban: more amnesty for those who are imprisoned by the party. < li > < li > Yulian: burying the relatives of the innocent and murdered empress song. < li > < li > Bei Kou: give preferential treatment to Hou Wang's family in case of chaos. < li > < li > physical training: recruit talented people like Zheng Xuan. < / Li > < li > Zun Yao: make performance appraisal on the governor's assassin on time. < li > < li > Yuxia: put an end to such bad habits as holding banquets and asking for help, and instruct relevant departments to do a good job in recommending talents. < li > < li > Sanli: it is suggested that Liu Hong should no longer accumulate private wealth. But Liu Hong did not take Lu Zhi's advice.
Ordered to fight
In February 184, the seventh year of Guanghe reign of Emperor Ling of Han Dynasty, Zhang Jiao, a Julu Prefecture of Jizhou, launched an uprising, which was known as the "yellow scarf rebellion" in history. Eight states responded and the government and the public were shocked. After passing through the four prefectures (general, Taiwei, situ and Sikong), Liu Hong worshipped Lu Zhi as general of beizhonglang, and ordered general huwu huanzhonglang to be his deputy. He led the officers and men of the five schools of the northern army (i.e. tunqi, Yueqi, infantry, Changshui and Shesheng) to Jizhou to pacify the Huangjin army.
Lu Zhi won a series of battles, and Zhang Jiao led his army to retreat to Guangzong County. Lu Zhi led the army to encircle Guangzong County, dig trenches, manufacture siege equipment, and prepare for siege. At this time, Liu Hong sent xiaohuangmen zuofeng to Lu Zhi's army to inspect his work. Someone advised Lu Zhi to bribe Zuo Feng, but Lu Zhi refused. Zuofeng didn't get any benefit, so he held a grudge. In June, zuofeng returned to Luoyang and slandered Liu Hongjin: "I see Guangzong County is easy to break, but Lu Zhi didn't do anything. Does he want to wait for heaven to kill Zhang Jiao?" In a rage, Liu Hong issued an imperial edict to remove Lu Zhi from his post, and escorted him back to Luoyang with a prison car. He was sentenced to life imprisonment (first class of commutation of death penalty). The imperial court worshipped Dong Zhuo as the general of dongzhonglang and succeeded Lu Zhi to pacify the Huangjin army in Jizhou, but Dong Zhuo was defeated.
In August of the same year, another government army under Zuo Zhonglang's command, huangfusong, had calmed down the Huangjin army in Yanzhou, and the imperial court sent huangfusong to Jizhou to calm down the Huangjin army. Huangfu song lived up to the expectations of the public and finally came back triumphantly. After Huang Fu Song returned to Luoyang, he wrote to Liu Hong, and Lu Zhi took the credit for calming the yellow scarf army in Jizhou, so Lu Zhi returned to his original post and remained the minister.
No fear of power
In the sixth year of Zhongping (189), Emperor Liu Hong died, and general He Jin took control of the government. He Jin listened to Yuan Shao's advice, intended to eradicate eunuchs, and even recruited Dong Zhuo, the governor of Bingzhou, to Beijing. Lu Zhi knew that Dong Zhuo would be a future trouble and tried to dissuade him, but he Jin did not listen.
In August of the same year, there was a coup. He Jin was killed and Dong Zhuo went to Beijing to take control of the government. Dong Zhuo wanted to depose Liu Bian, the young emperor, and set up Liu Xie, the king of Chen Liu, as emperor, so he called all the civil and military officials to discuss. At that time, no one dared to speak up. Only Lu Zhi came out alone to oppose. Dong Zhuo was so angry that he ordered Lu Zhi to be executed. Cai Yong pleaded for him, and Peng Bo, the Yi Lang, also came out to dissuade Dong Zhuo, saying: "Lu Shangshu is a great scholar at home, the hope of scholars! Now if you kill him, everyone will be shocked and disappointed. " Dong Zhuo just gave up and dismissed Lu Zhi.
Stay away from Shanggu
Soon after, Lu Zhi asked to return to his hometown Zhuoxian on the grounds of old age and physical discomfort. After Dong Zhuo's approval, Lu Zhi left Luoyang by the path, and Dong Zhuo sent people to chase him. Lu Zhi lived in seclusion in Shanggu County of Youzhou, regardless of the world.
In 191, Yuan Shao won the title of Jizhou and worshipped Lu Zhi as a military adviser.
Lu Zhi died in 1922. On his deathbed, he asked his son to dig a hole in the earth and bury him thinly. He didn't need a coffin, but only left a single suit.
In 207, the Prime Minister Cao Cao led the army to attack Wuhuan in the north, passing through Zhuoxian county. He issued a circular praising Lu Zhi's life and sent people to sweep his tomb.
