He has successively served as Xiang Daobao, Tianjin pictorial and Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House of artillery brigade of Shanxi Chahar Hebei field military region. He has been engaged in fine arts creation and publishing all his life and made great achievements. During his study at the North China United University, Jiang Ze received more guidance from his predecessors, such as Yanhan, Hu Yichuan and Mada. In 1949, he came to Tianjin with the army. He has been working in Tianjin Artists Association, Tianjin Culture Bureau and Art Publishing Department. In addition, his acquaintance with Tianjin folk artists Liu Xinglin (wood carving), Liu Fengming's brick carving, yideyuan (paper carving) and Zhao Jingchun (New Year pictures) also helped him to inherit and innovate his artistic creation.
personal works
Jiang Ze's early artistic creation is the woodcut New Year picture "peace and happiness" and the Tang poetry "poetry with painting". The former imitates the Yangliu youth painting in the form of the characters of boy, lamp and blessing. The creativity imitates the image of "female doll" sitting in the middle of the painting, holding the colored bottle with "Lotus" and "bat" in the right hand and the long branch with "hanging apricot" in the left hand, which means "peace and happiness" to support the holding of the world peace conference. In order to highlight the characteristics of Tianjin New Year pictures, color painting is added to the woodblock watermark. This painting was published by Tianjin People's Publishing House in 1954 and distributed nationwide. Later, it was included in the collection of Chinese New Year paintings compiled by German artist Li teke and spread abroad. The latter's "poems and paintings" are four paintings for Bai Juyi's poem "suzige Shanbei village", which reflects the brutality of a group of soldiers robbing wine, cutting down trees, disturbing people and deceiving people when they were building a palace for the emperor. This work was published in the third issue of print bimonthly published by Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House in 1957 and won high praise in the print industry. Jiang Ze's exploration of brick carving art began in 1952 with an exercise of Zhong Kui, but it was not shown for a long time. Ten years later, it was published in Hong Kong's fine arts magazine, which was greatly encouraged by Comrade Ma da. Since then, there have been masterpieces such as Zhaojun's leaving the frontier (1978), master Jianzhen's journey to the East (1980), the Silk Road (1985), and suwu Shepherd (1990). In his later years, according to Qu Yuan's Lisao and Jiuge, Comrade Jiang Ze composed a total of 24 series of works in the form of one word and one painting. As far as we know, the propaganda of brick carving art by Tianjin media began with a painting of Qu Yuan created by Comrade Ma DA in 1957 during the Dragon Boat Festival. After that, there were many followers.
