Yang Shangwen (1807-1856) was a calligrapher in Qing Dynasty. Zhonghua, Molin. Lingshi people in Fenhe, Shanxi. He studied in a private school, but failed to win. He served his mother at home and read extensively. He lives in Beijing and makes friends with famous scholars in literary circles. He has close contacts with celebrities he Shaoji and Zhang Mu.
