Wen Qin
Wen Qin? ~Zhongruo, born in Qiaojun (now Bozhou City, Anhui Province), was a general of Cao Wei in the Three Kingdoms period and the son of Wen Ji.
In the reign of Wei Ming emperor Taihe, Wen Qin served as a general of Yamen and commander in chief of Wuying school. Later, he paid homage to the Lujiang prefect and champion general. In the first year of Jiaping (249), Cao Shuang and his party were killed in the change of Gaoping mausoleum. Wen Qin was uneasy. In order to appease Wen Qin, the ruling Sima group promoted him to be a former general and governor of Yangzhou. During his tenure, he made friends with Zhendong general Wu Qiujian. The attack of zhugeke, the Taifu of the state of Wu, was repulsed and certain results were achieved.
In the second year of Zhengyuan (255), Wen Qin and Zhendong general Wu Qiujian attacked Sima division in Yangzhou. After defeat, they defected to the state of Wu and were named Zhenbei general, Youzhou Mu and Qiao Hou. In the second year of Ganlu (257), Wen Qin joined the Wu army to rescue and fight against Sima's Zhuge birthday. Since then, because he was besieged by Sima Zhao's army, the military situation became urgent. There was a contradiction between Wen Qin and Zhuge's birthday, and Zhuge's birthday, who was increasingly dissatisfied with Wen Qin, killed Wen Qin. After the pacification of Huainan, Wenqin's body was buried by his second son.
Life of the characters
Early career
Wen Qin was famous for his bravery and decisiveness when he was young. In the 24th year of Jian'an (219), Wei satirized the rebellion, and Wen Qin was sentenced to prison for being implicated. Wen Qin should be executed according to the law, but Cao Cao thought that he was the son of Wen Ji, so he was pardoned.
During the reign of Wei Ming emperor Taihe, Wen Qin served as the commander of Wuying school and the general of Yamen. Wenqin was just rude and arrogant, so he was sent to the top. Cao Rui, the emperor of the Wei and Ming Dynasties, once suppressed Wen Qin's actions, but later he was appointed as a goalkeeper of Huainan and was transferred to the posts of Lujiang prefect and Yingyang general. During this period, Wang Ling told the court that Wen Qin was greedy and cruel, so he was not suitable to be a border general. He asked the court to punish Wen Qin, so Wen Qin was returned by the court.
After the death of emperor Wei Ming, Cao Shuang was in power, because Wen Qin and Cao Shuang were fellow villagers. General Cao Shuang gave deep treatment to Wen Qin, and no longer treated Wen Qin's crime. After Cao Shuang adopted Ding Mi's plan, he sent Wen Qin back to Lujiang and conferred him the title of champion general. Wen Qin was treated like this and became more arrogant. He boasted that he was superior to others because of his strength and bravery, and gained a reputation among the three armies.
In the first year of Jiaping (249), after Cao Shuang was killed, Wen Qin was worried. In order to ease his mind, the imperial court made Wen Qin a former general.
In the second year of Jiaping (250), Wen Qin pretended to surrender to the state of Wu and sent a secret letter to him, luring Wu General Zhu Yi to personally lead the army to meet him. Zhu Yi submitted a letter to Wen Qin, explaining that his surrender was false and that he could not be met immediately. Sun Quan, the emperor of Wu, sent LV zudu and Zhu Yi to the northern border of Wu. Wen Qin did not surrender.
Wen Qin and Zhuge's birthday hated each other. Later, Wen Qin became the governor of Yangzhou on behalf of Zhuge's birthday.
During his stay in Huainan, Wen Qin made many contributions and liked to make false reports on the number of prisoners in an attempt to gain favor, but the imperial court often refused to give them. Therefore, Wen Qin's resentment against the imperial court became more and more serious. Zhendong general Wu Qiujian was very kind to Wen Qin out of stratagem. Wen Qin was also grateful and loyal to him.
In 253, Wu Taifu zhugeke besieged Hefei New City, and Wu Qiujian and Wen Qin united to resist. Sima Fu, the commander of Taiwei, led the Chinese army to break the siege from the East. Zhuge Ke had to retreat. Wen Qin led the army to pursue and achieved certain results.
Serve the king
In the first month of the second year of Zhengyuan (255), comets of tens of feet long appeared in the sky, crossing the northwest sky, starting from the boundary between Wu and Chu. The imperial commander Guo Qin and the Empress Dowager Qiu Jian were very happy to announce the accusation. After Wu Qiujian and Wen Qin rebelled, they sent people to find Zhennan general Zhuge birthday and asked him to call Yuzhou people to join in the rebellion. Zhuge birthday killed the people sent by Wu Qiujian and Wen Qin, and publicized their conspiracy to let people know their rebellious behavior. Wu Qiujian and Wen Qin coerced Huainan people to enter Shouchun City, leaving the old and weak to guard the city. Wu Qiujian and Wen Qin led 50000 or 60000 troops across the Huaihe River and westward to Xiangdi. Wenqin protected the city outside the city.
Before the war, Wen Qin wrote to Guo Huai, asking him to respond when he and Wu Qiujian started the war. However, because Guo Huai had died, Wen Qin's plan failed.
Sima division led the army to fight against Wu Qiujian. In addition, he sent Zhuge to lead all the troops in Yuzhou to approach Shouchun from anfengjin. General Hu Zun led the troops of Qingzhou and Xuzhou to attack between Qiao and Song Dynasty in order to cut off wuqiujian's retreat. Sima division led troops stationed in Ruyang, and Wang Ji, the supervisor, led forward troops to guard Nandun, waiting for Wu Qiujian's troops. The Sima division ordered all the troops to hold fast to their positions and not to fight directly against the rebels of Wu Qiujian and Wen Qin. Wu Qiujian, Wen Qin and others could not fight forward. When they retreated to Shouchun, they were afraid of being attacked by the Wu army. They had no way to go and could do nothing. Huainan officers and men's hometown is in the north, the morale is lax, surrender one after another. Only the local farmers who have recently come to Huainan are willing to fight for them. Sima Shi sent Deng AI, the governor of Yanzhou, to lead all the troops in Taishan, and tens of thousands of people came to Lejia. Pretending to be vulnerable, Wu Qiujian and Wen Qin were lured to attack. The Sima division soon led the army to Zhudi. Wen Qin didn't know what the plan was, so he wanted to attack Deng AI at night. At dawn, seeing the strength of the troops, they had to withdraw their troops. Sima Shi sent a cavalry general to lead the pursuit and defeated Wen Qin, so Wen Qin fled. On that day, Wu Qiujian was very worried when he heard that Wen Qin was defeated, so he withdrew his troops at night. When Shen county arrived, the soldiers around Wu Qiujian gradually fled. Wu Qiujian, his younger brother Wu qiuxiu and grandson Wu Qiuzhong are hiding in the grass by the water. Zhang Zhi, a subordinate of an Fengjin Duwei, shot Wu Qiujian and reported his head to Luoyang.
Surrender to Wu
After Wu Qiujian died, Wu qiuxiu and Wu Qiuchong fled to Wu state. Many of the officers and men who were coerced by Wu Qiujian and Wen Qin were surrendered to the state of Wei. Wu Qiujian's three clans were all killed. When Wen Qin returned to Xiangcheng, he could not stand on his own because he was a lonely army. When he wanted to return to Shouchun, the soldiers of Shouchun had been defeated, so he fled to the state of Wu, surrendering to the state of Wu. The state of Wu appointed Wen Qin as the capital protector, the holiday festival, the general of Zhenbei, the herdsman of Youzhou, and the Marquis of Qiao.
According to the records, although Wen Qin surrendered to the state of Wu, he could not obey the etiquette of the state of Wu, which led to the hatred of the generals Lv Zheng and Zhu Yi. Only Sun Jun treated him kindly and made friends with him.
In September of the first year of Ganlu (256), Wen Qin advised Wu to invade Wei. Sun Jun sent Wen Qin and his generals LV Ju, Liu Zuan, Zhu Yi, and Tang Zi to march from Jiangdu to Huai and Si regions, to Qingzhou and Xuzhou, and to die in Shitou city. After sun Jun died, sun Gu acted as Sun Jun's assistant, and was opposed by LV Ju. So sun Gu ordered Wen Qin and others to attack LV Ju. LV Ju knew that he was invincible, so he committed suicide .
Participating in the three treacheries
In May of the second year of Ganlu (257), Zhuge raised his troops to rebel against the state of Wei, summoned all kinds of troops to attack and kill Leshi, the governor of Yangzhou. More than 100000 officers and soldiers from Huainan and Huaibei, and 40000 or 50000 people from Yangzhou who were newly assigned to Yangzhou, were gathered to store enough grain for one year and closed the city. He also sent his youngest son Zhuge Liang to Wu to ask for help. The state of Wu was very happy when he got the letter, and sent generals Quan Yi, Quan Duan, Tang Zi, Wang Zuo and others to lead 30000 troops to meet Zhuge's birthday together with Wen Qin secretly. At this time, Wang Jigang, the Zhennan General of the state of Wei, arrived and led the troops to encircle Shouchun. Before the siege was formed, Tang Zi and Wen Qin rushed into the city from the northeast by virtue of the mountains.
In June of the second year of Ganlu (257), the army of the state of Wei arrived at Xiangdi. Under the leadership of general Sima Zhao, a total of 260000 troops were mobilized near the Huaihe River. Sima Zhao stationed his troops in qiutou, and sent Wang Ji and general Anton Chen Qian to encircle the city, digging trenches and building fortresses. Shi Bao, governor of Yanzhou, Shi zhoutai and others were sent to lead elite troops as mobile troops to guard against the attack of Wu army. Wen Qin and others tried to break out of the encirclement several times, but they were repulsed.
He was killed
In the first month of the third year of Ganlu (258), zhugesi, Wenqin and Tangzi made many offensive weapons and broke through the encirclement from the south for five or six days. Surrounded by the army from high with a stone cart fired stones, with rockets burned siege equipment, stone like rain, corpses everywhere, blood filled the trench. Zhuge birthday and others can only retreat to the city. There was an increasing shortage of food in the city, and tens of thousands of people went out of the city to surrender. Wen Qin wanted to drive all the northerners out in order to save food and stick with the state of Wu. Zhuge did not accept the idea, so they were estranged. There was a contradiction between Wen Qin and Zhuge's birthday. It's just because of special things. The more urgent things are, the less you trust each other. Wen Qin was dissatisfied with Zhuge's plan for everything, so Zhuge killed Wen Qin.
The end after death
When Wen Qin died, his sons Wen Yang and Wen Hu led the troops in the small town. When they heard that their father Wen Qin had been killed, they led the crowd to the scene, but their subordinates did not listen. So Wenyang and Wenhu had to escape from the city alone and go to Sima Zhao. The officers and soldiers in the army asked to kill the two brothers. Sima Zhao ordered: "Wen Qin's crime is not tolerated. Of course, his son should be killed. But Wenyang and Wenhu surrendered in desperate circumstances, and the city has not yet been captured. If they are killed, it is tantamount to strengthening the determination of the officers and men in the city to defend themselves. " So he pardoned Wen Yang and Wen Hu, and asked them to lead hundreds of cavalry to the outside of the city, shouting: "Wen Qin's sons have not been killed, what other people are afraid of." He also showed that Ren Wenyang and Wenhu were generals, and he was given the title of marquis in Guannei. After the destruction of Shouchun City, Wenyang and Wenhu brothers were allowed to collect Wenqin's body, and the ox cart was given to bury Wenqin.
