Zhou Yin
Zhou Yin? (now southwest of Lujiang, Anhui Province). Zhou Yin was born in the Zhou family of Lujiang. He was the second son of Zhou Yu, a famous general of Wu state during the Three Kingdoms period. At the beginning, he served as a captain of Xingye, married the daughter of the clan, led 1000 soldiers and stationed in the Public Security Bureau. In the first year of Huanglong (229), he was the Marquis of Xiang. Later, he was removed from office for the crime and moved to Luling county.
In the second year of chiwu (239), Zhu Gejin and bu Gulian pleaded for him, asking for forgiveness of his crime, returning his troops and restoring his title. Zhu ran and Quan Cong wrote a letter again, and Sun Quan allowed it. Before the imperial edict was issued, Zhou Yin died.

Removing officials for the people
Sun Quan appointed Zhou Yin as the captain of Xingye, and married his family daughter to him, leading 1000 soldiers. When Zhou Yin was stationed at the police station, he was praised by Sun Quan for his father's sake.
In the first year of Huanglong (229), Sun Quan called himself Emperor and pursued the meritorious officials. Because Zhou Xun had passed away, he made his younger brother Zhou Yin the Marquis of the capital. Zhou Yin had the highest rank among the descendants of meritorious officials. However, he was proud of his father's merits and indulged in wine and sex. Later, he was removed from office for his crime and moved to Luling county.

In the second year of chiwu (239), Zhuge Jin and bu Jia jointly asked to forgive Zhou Yin for his father Zhou Yu's fault.
Sun Quan replied that he deeply felt his feelings for Zhou Yu and hoped that Zhou Yin would turn over a new leaf in their face. At this time, Zhu ran and Quan Cong also played to intercede for Zhou Yin, so Sun Quan agreed to their request. At this time, Zhou Yin died.

The chicken that missed the dawn. It's a metaphor for a promising person who loses a good opportunity and ends up in a bad situation due to dereliction of duty. In the biography of Zhou Yu, Wu Zhi in the annals of the Three Kingdoms, Zhu Gejin "begged for the rest of his sins, returned his soldiers to the throne, made the chicken who had lost his Dan win a song again, held the guilty minister, and displayed his aftereffect." Song Lu You's poem "returning to the old man" says: "a lot of lost dogs, a lot of lost chickens."
