Feng Kai
Feng Kai (1873-1931), formerly known as Honglong, was born in Cixi County (now Cicheng Town, Jiangbei District), and was named Mugong.
He lost his father early and learned poetry from his mother. In 1892 (the 18th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu), he was the second-class student in the examination. In the same year, he formed a rebellious society with Chen Xunzheng, and later changed his name to Shanshe, which sharpened his poetic integrity. He also participated in the establishment of Cihu school, Zhengshi primary school and Dongcheng girls' school. In 1900, he was appointed as a tutor in Lishui County, and soon transferred to Xuanping county. He was not appointed because of illness. Later, he lived in Shanghai and had close contact with Wu Changshuo. In 1910, he worked in Shanghai Tianduo daily and presided over the "novel column". He left the post the next year to teach Ningbo normal school and Xiaoshi middle school. In 1922, he served as the president of Shanghai xiuneng Society (the director of Yishuo Arts), during which he organized Huifeng society with Wang Geyi, Chen Bulei and Sha Menghai. Since the name room day "Huifeng hall", scholars called Mr. Huifeng. He was the real capital of Wenhua, good at poetry and calligraphy, and was known as the "four talents of Cixi" with Chen Xunzheng, Hong Yunxiang (Foya) and Ying Qilong. He is the author of huifengtang poetry anthology.
