Zhang Fan

Zhang Fan (1913-1947) is also known as Zhang Fengxian. Dongying City Dongying District Longju shisantu village. He studied since childhood and was admitted to the first rural normal school of Jinan province in 1919. In 1947, he died in the battle between Gaoxian Town, Quwo County, Shanxi Province and Yan Xishan Branch of the Kuomintang.

After the September 18th Incident, he took an active part in the demonstrations against the Kuomintang authorities and organized the "Nanjing students' anti Japanese and national salvation petition group". After joining the Communist Party of China in February 1933, he stayed in the first rural normal school as a teacher, engaged in the party's underground work. In 1937, he was sent to Yan'an Anti Japanese military and Political University to study. In the same year, he was transferred to Taihang area as the director of the Political Department of the Eighth Route Army, and later served as the political commissar of the sixth regiment of the second column of Shanxi youth army. In 1947, he died in the battle between Gaoxian Town, Quwo County, Shanxi Province and Yan Xishan Branch of the Kuomintang.
