Wang Boxiang, male, Han nationality, was born in February 1943 in beichaixi village, Hualong Town, Shouguang City, Shandong Province.

He once served as secretary of Shouguang county Party committee of Shandong Province. It is known as an example of the Secretary of the county Party committee in the new period. The Secretary of the county Party committee has left office for 18 years and is always remembered by the people. In November 17, 2009, Xi Jinping, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Secretariat and vice president of the state, wrote to him to encourage him to cherish the honour and take care of himself.
