Cheng Ping, female, Han nationality, born in October 1958 in Longkou, Shandong Province, is a non partisan person with a master's degree.

He is now a member of the social and Legal Committee of the 13th CPPCC National Committee.

In December 2004, he served as deputy head of the capital construction quality supervision station of the Ministry of transport (deputy bureau level); in March 2009, he served as deputy director of the Highway Bureau of the Ministry of transport; in March 2014, he served as director of the Department of safety and quality supervision and management of the Ministry of transport; in July 2014, he concurrently served as deputy head of the emergency office of the Ministry of transport; in January 2016, he served as safety director of the Ministry of transport (bureau level); in March 2018, he served as the 13th director of the Ministry of transport Member of the social and Legal Committee of the CPPCC National Committee.
