Life of the characters
Family background
Goering was born on January 13, 1893 in malinbad sanatorium in rosenham, the southern part of Bavaria, the German Empire. His father was Heinrich Ernst Goering, and his mother was his second wife, Francesca tefenbraun.
Heinrich, formerly a cavalry officer, later became a diplomat. He served as chief executive of the German West African colony (now Namibia) and was later sent to Haiti as consul general.
When Francesca was pregnant with Goering, Heinrich was working as the Consul General of Haiti. In order to concentrate on production, he returned to Germany and lived in a sanatorium run by Herman von Epstein, a doctor with the title of "Knight", and then went to Goering in the real estate.
Heinrich and Francesca have three sons and two daughters, a total of five children. Goering is the fourth child in the family, ranking second among the three brothers. Goering has an elder brother Carl Ernst, two elder sisters Olga, Paula and a younger brother Albert. Heinrich also has five children in his marriage to his ex-wife, Caroline Maria Di nere. They are equivalent to Goering's half brothers. Herman is actually the ninth in his family.
Epstein became godfather of Goering and gave him his own name "Herman", while the middle name "William" was taken from the German Emperor Wilhelm II.
Epstein was born in Berlin landlord noble doctor, as the royal doctor of Prussia, in his circle is also influential. Epstein himself believed in Catholicism, but because his father was Jewish, Epstein was "half Jewish".
After going to Africa as a military doctor, Epstein got to know Heinrich, who was the local governor, and became a close friend. Goering's mother, Francesca, is a patient that Epstein often cares about, and then maintains an improper relationship with the latter. The relationship began about nine months to a year before Albert was born, so it is rumored that Albert is actually Epstein's illegitimate child.
After Francesca gave birth to Goering, Heinrich returned from Haiti. Soon after, Francesca entrusted Goering, who was only six months old, to felter's friends for three years.
In 1896, Heinrich and Francesca both returned to Germany.
In 1900, Goering and his parents moved to live in friednaugh, Berlin. Although his father was a senior diplomat and had many children, he was not rich and lived in a very tight life.
Heinrich was a rare liberal among the senior officials of the German Empire. He often spoke for the colored people who were colonized by Germany, which made the position of the local government rather difficult. Therefore, Heinrich was labeled as a "socialist" after he returned home and had to retire early.
Early experience
In the northern part of the new town of Newcastle, there are two castles on the outskirts of Chateau des mourtschaft and Chateau des mourtschafts. Epstein provided the latter for the Gollings, who lived on Heinrich's pension alone.
Epstein himself was looking forward to the luxurious life of the nobles in the middle ages, so he decorated the castle very luxuriously. The servants were also required to work in court style clothes. Epstein also contacted the people in the city with the attitude of the castle ruler. (it is generally believed that Goering's taste for luxury ornaments was influenced by his godfather in this period. )
In contrast, Goering's father resigned as a diplomat and lived a life of drinking every day, which made him no longer a reliable figure in the eyes of young Goering. Therefore, he respected his godfather Epstein more than his biological father. Epstein is also very fond of the children of the Goering family. It is generally believed that he prefers his son Albert in particular. However, the latter's cowardly and introverted temperament is different from it. After hearing this, Epstein turns to love Goering, who is good at socializing and has the spirit of adventure.
Epstein often spent the night with Francesca, and Heinrich, as a sojourner, acquiesced although he was dissatisfied. Epstein's Castle thus maintained such a wonderful triangular relationship between Goering's parents and Epstein. In 1913, because Epstein remarried with a young woman, lily, at the latter's request, Goering's family moved out of fardinsteinburg and went to Munich for a long time.
Goering has been very keen on mountaineering since he was 10 years old. When he was 13 years old, he climbed to the top of the great Glockner mountain with an elevation of 3600 meters. Goering was also influenced by Epstein and developed an interest in hunting.
In 1904, Goering graduated from felter's primary school and then went to the residential liberal arts middle school in Ansbach. However, Goering, who was used to the luxurious life in the castle, could not adapt to it.
There was once a composition class in which the title was "the man I admire the most". Goering wrote about his Jewish godfather, but he was asked by the headmaster to write a Book of repentance and was no longer allowed to write articles praising Jews. The classmate also bullied Goering, hung the sign "my godfather is Jewish" on his neck, and asked him to punish the frog to jump. Goering was very angry about it.
One night in 1905, he packed his bags, fled school and returned to Fort fardinstan. Since then, the school has left a deep aversion to Goering's knowledge. As a result, he often talks about a witticism: "as soon as I hear the word 'culture', I will pull my browning pistol."
Later, promoted by his father and godfather, he entered the sergeant school in Baden Karlsruhe in 1905 and graduated in 1909. Among them, riding, history, English, French and other subjects are particularly excellent.
In 1909, Goering entered the Prussian Military Academy in daguanye, Berlin.
In 1911, he passed the junior staff sergeant's candidate examination with an excellent grade and became a junior staff sergeant's candidate officer.
In 1913, Goering passed the examination. As an excellent alternate officer of a famous military academy, Goering began to have the opportunity to contact the social world and accumulated the experience of communicating with the upper class.
In December 1913, Goering's father Heinrich died. In his youth, Goering often showed no respect for his father, but he cried at his father's funeral in Munich.
In January 1914, Goering won the rank of second lieutenant in the army and was sent to serve in the 112th Prince William infantry regiment in Alsace lorrinmilus.
During the first World War
From the end of July to the beginning of August in 1914, war broke out among European countries and the first World War began. Germany and France also started war on August 3, 1914.
The 112th infantry regiment, which Goering belonged to, was stationed in the border area of France. After the outbreak of the war, it quickly moved to the war zone. Goring's troops attacked the French stronghold in the attack and defense of MILUS, and captured four French soldiers. Therefore, they won the second grade iron cross. But Goering soon fell ill with rheumatic fever and retired to a hospital in Freiburg.
When Goering was hospitalized, Bruno ROLSA, a friend of the 112th infantry regiment, convinced Goering to transfer from the army infantry to the air force. The latter began flight training in Freiburg. Although Goering was full of longing for becoming a pilot at that time, after he handed in the letter of assignment, the permit was never issued.
However, Goering disobeyed the order and did not return to the original unit for service. Instead, he continued his flight training with the albatross type observation plane in ROLSA. Later, the matter was discovered by the military, and Goering was tried by military law and sentenced to 21 days' detention in barracks. However, with the help of the influential godfather of the court and the presence of Crown Prince William, commander of the 5th group army, Goering not only avoided the punishment, but also successfully transferred to the air force.
