Synopsis
In the 1920s and 1930s, warlords fought in chaos, and the people were in dire straits. Ji Hongchang searched for the truth of serving the country and saving the people in the dark, and followed Feng Yuxiang to take the northern expedition in Wuyuan. In the Central Plains war, Ji Hongchang endured humiliation and was forced to take refuge with Chiang Kai Shek, and was sent to encircle and suppress the Red Army. However, Ji Hongchang provided grain and ammunition to the Red Army, contacted the anti Chiang forces, was dismissed, and was forced to go abroad for "investigation". During the September 18th Incident and the Anti Japanese war in Songhu, he wrote tens of thousands of words and volunteered to fight against Japan. When the Japanese army occupied Chahar, Ji Hongchang, Feng Yuxiang and other patriotic generals established the Chahar Anti Japanese Alliance. At the time of fierce fighting between the Allied forces and the Japanese aggressors, the traitor government colluded with the Japanese to fight against the Allied forces, and Feng Yuxiang was forced to step down. Ji Hongchang led his troops to fight bloody battles at the foot of the Great Wall for dozens of days. Finally, they were forced to lay down their weapons because they ran out of ammunition and food. Under the influence of Liang Shixia, Ji Hongchang joined the Communist Party of China, joined the anti fascist alliance, and organized the Anti Japanese and anti Chiang allied forces. He was wanted by Chiang Kai Shek, arrested, and extradited to Beiping army prison. In the face of the gun muzzle of the traitorous government, he died of grief and indignation: he hated not to fight against Japan and left it as a shame today. It's still like this. I don't care about it.
Ji Hongchang: China's famous Anti Japanese general. "If you don't want to die against Japan, leave it for today's shame. How can I cherish this? "This is a heroic poem written by Ji Hongchang, a famous Anti Japanese general, before his death.
Ji Hongchang was born in Fugou County, Henan Province. Born in 1895. In 1913, he joined the army of Feng Yuxiang. Because he was brave and good at fighting, he was promoted from soldier to commander. He is upright, not afraid of power, known as "lucky bold". In September 1930, he was recruited by Chiang Kai Shek and served as commander-in-chief of the 22nd Route Army and division commander of the 30th division. He was ordered to "encircle and suppress" the revolutionary base areas of Hubei, Henan and Anhui, but he was unwilling to fight civil war for Chiang Kai Shek and had a negative attitude. In August 1931, Chiang Kai Shek removed his military power and forced him to go abroad for "investigation". So he traveled around Europe and America, made Anti Japanese speeches and sought international support.
In April 1932, Ji Hongchang joined the Communist Party of China in Peiping. According to the party's instructions, he went to Mount Tai to contact Feng Yuxiang and went out to organize armed resistance against Japan. Then he destroyed his family and saved his life. He turned the seller's property into 60000 yuan to buy guns. In May 1933, he, together with Feng Yuxiang and Fang Zhenwu, established the Chahar people's Anti Japanese Alliance Army in Zhangjiakou. He served as the commander of the second army and the commander in chief of the former enemy in Beilu. He led his troops to attack the Japanese puppet army in Chabei, and drove the Japanese troops out of the Chahar area in four counties, namely, Kangbao, Baochang, Guyuan and Duolun. Chiang Kai Shek accused the Allied forces of sabotaging the national policy and ordered he Yingqin to command 16 divisions to attack the Allied forces with the Japanese army. Ji Hongchang led his troops to the middle of October when they ran out of ammunition and food. He went to Tianjin to continue his anti Japanese activities. In 1934, he participated in the organization of the Chinese people's anti fascist alliance and was promoted to the chairman. He secretly printed the national war flag newspaper, publicized the Anti Japanese War, contacted all parties and prepared to reorganize the Anti Japanese armed forces. On November 9, he was assassinated and injured by the juntong spy in the French concession of Tianjin. He was arrested by the Ministry of industry and extradited to the branch of Beiping army. The enemy tried every means to make him confess. Ji Hongchang said with awe inspiring righteousness: "I am a member of the Communist Party. Because of the party's education, I got rid of the old Warlord's life and turned to the camp of the laboring masses of workers and peasants. It is the greatest honor of my life that I can join the revolutionary team, become a member of the Communist Party, fight for our party's doctrine and the liberation of mankind. " On the 24th, ordered by Chiang Kai Shek, he was killed in Beiping army prison at the age of 39.
