Xu Jue (1843-1916) was a diplomat in Qing Dynasty. The word Jingshan, late Fuan, Jiangsu Wuxi people. Guangxu Renwu is full of people. He served as the counsellor of the Secretary to the United States, the West and Italy. He has a collection of articles.

Xu Jue, in 1876, was recommended by Xue Fubao as governor Ding Baozhen of Shandong Province. Eight years, in the middle. In the 11th year, Zhang Yinhuan, Minister of the United States, Japan and the secretary general, was sent abroad. In the 16th year, Xue Fucheng was appointed Minister of Britain, France, Italy and Belgium as counsellor. Xuzi was appointed by Tongzhi Baochong, the magistrate, and the salt transportation envoy. Twenty four years ago, Yang Ru sent envoys to the United States, the west, and the secret service as counsellors. The film "please amend the tariff rules" was played on it, which advocated that the import tariff should be determined by China. Since the Sino Japanese War of 1894-1895, he was suspicious of everything and resigned. The proposed smoking ban was not adopted, and a smoking cessation Bureau was set up with Wuxi. Twenty seven years ago, he published the memorials of the petition for trial handling of national debt and tax increase of foreign drugs and the trial film of handling national debt from Guangdong, advocating to imitate the bonds of Western issuers. In the 28th year, he served as Minister of diplomatic mission to Italy with the title of four grade Minister of Hou Bu Dao. He returned to China 32 years ago and went to Guangdong as a Taoist candidate. Shangshu opposed constitutional monarchy and was regarded as "Crazy". After the revolution of 1911, he lived in seclusion. He died in September 1916. His son published 24 volumes of Fu'an remains, including three volumes of memorials, one volume of envoys' official documents, two volumes of Zuoyou documents, two volumes of no smoking documents, four volumes of articles, two volumes of poems, five volumes of letters and one volume of Jiashu jiechao.
