Mei Jicheng
Mei Jicheng (1681-1764), a mathematician in Qing Dynasty. The word is Yu Ru, which is called Xun Zhai and Liuxia Jushi. The swallow is the great master of literature. Xuancheng (now Anhui).
In 1715, the Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty granted Jinshi, selected Shu Jishi, and later granted editing. In 1729, he served as the censor of Jiangnan Road. The next year, he transferred engineering to Shizhong. Nine years, moved to Guanglu Temple Shaoqing, general secretary to participate. Qianlong first year (1736) promoted shuntianfucheng. In the 12th year, he moved the capital to the Chayuan and vice governor of the capital. In the 13th year, he was promoted to the right Minister of the Ministry of punishment. Fifteen years later, he became the censor of zuodu. He left home at the age of 73. He studied astronomy and mathematics in his whole life. He had revised history of Ming Dynasty, astronomy annals, origin of law and calendar, revised Cheng Dawei's Suan FA Tong Yu, edited mathematical essence, and corrected Mei's Complete Book of law and mathematics. It had a great influence on the research of mathematics and calendar at that time and later generations, and made great contributions to the development of mathematics in China.
