Al
Al is a planet in the Blizzard Entertainment Company's real-time strategy game "StarCraft" series, which belongs to the coprolo sector.
Prior to the invasion of alien swarms, Al was a green planet with pure oceans, dense forests and prosperous cities. Al's atmosphere contains moderate levels of greenhouse gases, and the planet's orbital eccentricity is low, so the hot and humid climate has bred a lot of life. For hundreds of millions of years, countless species have been born in the hot and humid rainforest of El, among which Xingling is the best.
Planetary history
Al witnessed the rise and fall of the history of starspirit, and the mysterious sarnaga promoted the evolution of this primitive psionic race. But the hostility between the starlings finally made them lose their original spiritual link, and the sarnaga left al. This event, which later generations called the great split, made the Xingling society fall into the most fierce civil war in the history of the Galaxy: the war of the ages. The dispute of generations destroyed the land of Al, life was destroyed, everything was withered, and many low-level species were on the verge of extinction.
Although the sarnagans left Al, the evidence of their presence on the planet has been preserved: the huge underground caverns and the heart energy crystal boulders standing in them, some of which have been preserved to modern times. These strange relics of sarnaga were finally discovered by Xingling, which ended the barbaric civil war of this race in a great sense. According to the legend of Xingling, a mystic named Kasi discovered these mental artifacts and recovered the spiritual link that Xingling had lost long before the war of the ages.
With this knowledge, Kasi began to teach Kara's way, calling on Xingling to abandon the feud, unite and rebuild Xingling society. As the starlings gradually return to their ancient psychic links, the thoughts, feelings and experiences of all members of the entire race flood into the sea of psychic links, watering out the fire of hatred that originally fueled the war of the ages.
In the following centuries, Al ushered in the golden age. The war-torn continent is healed; the protozoan species are thriving; countless cities and temples stand on the surface of the planet. The Starling population has grown to billions, and Al has become the center of their vast StarCraft empire.
However, with the advent of the insect population, this period of vigorous development also stopped abruptly. In order to assimilate the Starling race, the rapid mutation of the alien insects launched a comprehensive invasion of al. Under the guidance of the master, countless alien insects swarmed into the planet, engulfed the brave defenders, and left the scars of destruction on the continent of al.
In order to save the people of Xingling, tasadar, the brave former consul, made a desperate action. He drove his flagship Xingsuo into the alien master, and died with the master with the heroic act of self sacrifice. But tasadar's heroic act failed to drive the angry Alien Swarm out of the planet. Al falls, and the besieged star spirit survivors are forced to give up their beloved home. The remaining spirits seek refuge on the distant planet saguras. The Dark Templars living in saguras are a tribe of starlings who were exiled long ago because they refused to accept Kara's way.
Since then, Al has been dominated by the new leader of the swarm, queen blade. Except for a small area that has not been invaded and destroyed, most of Al's land has become a hatching ground for alien insects. Scattered ashes, damaged war machines and the remains of the dead indicate the fate of the planet. It is reported that there are still a small number of starspirit survivors scattered around the planet, but the exact number is unknown. The fate of Al's other species is a mystery. According to the speculation of some star spirits, they have been absorbed by alien insects and mutated into killing machines fighting for the swarm.
Al had a long and glorious history, but now it has become a terrible symbol of the destructive power of insects. Xingling once thought that they were the most advanced civilization in the galaxy, but al's fate left them a painful but valuable lesson: if Xingling wanted to survive in the chaos that swept through copulo, they must be willing to accept new tactics and allies.
In StarCraft II: the legacy of the void, star spirit, led by Archbishop atanis, goes through several fierce battles and finally defeats the fallen sarnaga - Emon and his subordinates and takes back al. Al ushered in a new era.
