brief introduction
Chen Yuzhi (1225-1279), a native of Furong Village in Yongjia, is a native of yunweng. In the first year of Xianchun in the Southern Song Dynasty (1265), he was a Jinshi. He successively served as a professor of Yangzhou studies, huaidong Shuaigan, Lianghuai caogan, and criminal engineer. He was transferred to the provincial Secretary for collation and the Academy of national history for collation. He is good at painting and calligraphy, and he is good at ink and bamboo. In February 1276, the yuan army captured Lin'an. In November, ALAHAN and Dong Wenbing led the yuan army to Chuzhou and arrived at Ruian prefecture (Wenzhou was changed into Ruian Prefecture in August of the first year of Xianchun). Sixiuwang and Zhao Yulong, the visiting envoy of Zhejiang and Fujian provinces, led the people to fight against the enemy. They fought for more than 40 miles. The commander-in-chief observed that Li Shida and other 180 people died. When the city was surrounded, Li Xiong, a small school, opened the door to accept foreign soldiers and led the people to fight in the streets with Cuan and his Garrison minister Fang Hong. When Yu Zhi heard of the news, he would follow his nephew Chen Gui and lead more than a thousand villagers to continue to resist in lvzhanglong on the North Bank of Oujiang River. Because he was outnumbered, he retreated to Furong cliff of Nanxi and held fast. The yuan soldiers attacked the cliff and were defeated many times. When he was two years old, he felt that song Zuo was exhausted. He looked up to heaven and wept, so he drove his horse to jump off a cliff to die for his country. More than 800 people from his nephew and wife died bravely.
Life of the characters
During Chen Yuzhi's tenure as secretary of the provincial collation and national history academy, in 1274, in July, duzong Zhao Cui died in Funing hall. Zhao Xian, the four-year-old son of the imperial edict, was the emperor, and Empress Dowager Xie was in charge of the imperial court. In fact, he was the great traitor Jia Sidao, who was in power. By this time, the yuan army had captured Xiangyang and Fancheng, the important towns in the west, and the momentum was greatly boosted. In September, Kublai Khan believed that the conditions for the destruction of the Song Dynasty were ripe. He sent 200000 troops to the Song Dynasty in two ways. One was led by Prime Minister Boyan and led by Song Dynasty's demoted general LV Wenhuan to enter Han River and cross the Yangtze River from Xiangyang to Lin'an; the other was led by Prime Minister Heda and led by Song Dynasty's demoted General Liu Zheng to take Yangzhou and cross the Yangtze River from the east to Lin'an. In January 1276, the yuan army continued to March eastward and southward, and Lin'an was in danger. The officials in charge of the Privy Council and the censor of the Song Dynasty fled one after another. In February, the yuan army captured Lin'an and captured the Song Emperor Zhao Xian to the north. However, the army and people in the south of Lin'an continued to fight against the Yuan Dynasty. Since Lin'an fell behind, the yuan army continued to go south. When a yuan army led by Song Dynasty general LV Wenhuan invaded Wenzhou, Chen Yuzhi led more than 1000 people to resist the enemy in lvzhangbeng, Yongjia. It was rumored that the war between the two sides was fierce. Because of the large number of Yuan soldiers, Yu Zhi and others were outnumbered and retreated to Furong cliff behind his hometown. The cliff is towering, high in Yunhan, flat and broad on the top, with a thousand cliffs on all sides. As long as you keep a few paths, you can defend it dangerously. It is a dangerous place where "one man is in charge of the pass and ten thousand men are invincible". Yu Zhi and others overcame many unimaginable difficulties on the cliff and stuck to it for more than two years. During this period, he defeated hundreds of attacks launched by the yuan army. The "seal of zongba" (bronze) of the bashiba script of the Yuan Dynasty, which he seized, is still preserved in the Chen family of Furong. In 1279, Yu Zhi was devastated to hear that Zhang Shijie had defeated Yashan and Lu Xiufu had died in the sea. In addition, the only grain road on the back of Furong cliff was cut off by the yuan army, which made it impossible to solve the problem of grain. Therefore, Furong cliff was captured by the Yuan army. Yu Zhi would rather die than surrender. He blindfolded his horse with a cloth. He took the lead to ride on the horse and rode his horse to jump off the cliff to die for his country. His wife, younger brother, nephew, and more than 800 members of his clan all died and composed a rare and magnificent movement.
Appreciative Remarks
Chen Yuzhi's patriotism is consistent. We can see it clearly from his following two poems.
Farewell
Liu Shizheng leaves the pass at dawn, the desolate city is white sword and the snow is cold. The west wind is indifferent to the Longsha Road, and the mountain belt is smiling.
Farewell to friends
When the rain falls on the lake, I think it's clear in autumn. When the west wind blows, I ask about my return journey. Deep meaning, saying goodbye is hard to give up, people are far away, the dream of Acacia has become. a boat full of bright moon and light stars. the snow stars on the lonely mountain and the plum blossom moon make an appointment to help the festival enter the imperial capital. In addition to Yu Zhi's followers Zhuli, Zhong Seng, Ying Lei and others, it is particularly worth mentioning his nephew Chen Gui. Chen Gui, whose name is Mingsun and his name is Xubai, once ascended Jinshi and was granted dengshilang. When the cliff was broken, he was held by Yuan soldiers and died unyielding. There are 24 descendants and 10 women in Chen Gui's family, all of whom died. Some of Yu Zhi's younger brothers, such as Chen Yingchao, Zuo Chunfang's Bachelor of Zhan Shifu, Chen Yingrui, Ying Lin, Ying Zhou, and Chen Zhuo, Nanping Si Hu, also died for his country. After the cliff was broken, the yuan army hated the Furong people who rebelled against them. In order to revenge, they burned the whole village in ruins. The present Furong Village was rebuilt in the early years of the Qing Dynasty. The whole village is slightly square. The architectural layout of the village is like a small castle surrounded by stone walls. In the east of the city wall, there is a gate in the middle, and two small gates on both sides. There is a reef building inside the gate, carved beams and painted buildings, magnificent. There are two small gates in the South and North walls, and one in the north. From the main entrance, there is a straight corridor. There is an inner lake on the south side of the middle of the corridor. The lakeside is full of flowers and trees, and there are pavilions and waterside pavilions in the lake. The houses in the village take the corridor as the center line and are arranged in a "non" shape on both sides, neat and elegant. In the northwest corner of the village, there is a "Furong house" with three entrances. There are 24 patios, ponds, gardens, moon caves and so on. It has a simple shape and was built during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. Chen Yuzhi's tomb is still in existence, not very large in scale. It was rebuilt once during the reign of Emperor Kangxi. The location is beside the main road of yanxiasidong bridge, sanhuali, Furong Village. So far, it has been listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Yongjia County.
