Shi Jin

Shi Jin is the first 108 generals to appear in the novel outlaws of the marsh. He is the son of Shitai Gong of Shijia village, and one of the Eight Generals in 100. He ranks 23rd among the heroes of Liangshan, the seventh among the eight horsemen and vanguard envoys of Ma Jun, and the seventh among the heroes of Liangshan. Shi Jin was the apprentice of Wang Jin, the 800, 000 chieftain of the imperial guards in Tokyo. He was known as the "nine grain dragon" because he had nine green dragons tattooed on his body. After Shi Jin, Zhu Wu, Chen Da and Yang Chun got together in Shaohua mountain, they were put in jail because they failed to stab the governor of Huazhou. Later, they were rescued in fifty-eight chapters of "Wu used to earn gold collar pendants, Song Jiang made trouble in the West Mountain Huashan", and all the Shaohua mountain people went to Liangshan. When the Liangshan hero attacked fangla, Shi Jin, the "nine grain dragon", was killed by an arrow in front of Yuling pass.

Character origin

Shi Jin, born in Huayin County, Huazhou, is the eldest son of Shijiazhuang's Shitai Gong. Since he was a child, he didn't work in agriculture. His mother advised him not to be angry. Shitai Gong had no choice but to hire many masters to teach him martial arts. He also invited master craftsmen to embroider him with a tattoo. Therefore, he is called Jiuwen long Shijin in the world.

Make a havoc in Shijiazhuang

Wang Jin, the 800, 000 commandant who fled for his life because of his crime, occasionally stayed in Shijiazhuang. He saw Shi Jin practicing martial arts and commented that it was useless for Shi Jin to practice with sticks. Shi Jin was furious to challenge Wang Jin and was easily defeated by Wang Jin. Therefore, Shi Jin was convinced that Wang Jin was his teacher and learned 18 martial arts in half a year. Half a year later, Shi Taigong died, and Shi Jin became the leader of Shijiazhuang. Three or four months later, the three leaders of Shaohua mountain, Zhu Wu, Yang Chun and Chen Da, came to Huayin county to borrow grain. Shi Jin's friendship with Shaohua mountain was revealed by hunter Li Ji and reported to the government. The magistrate of Huayin County sent troops to encircle Shijiazhuang. Shi Jin, together with Zhu Wu, Chen Da and Yang Chun, defeated the officers and soldiers. Shi Jin did not want to fall grass and went to Weizhou to find a division. But when they met Lu Da, they became friends at first sight. They became brothers of different surnames. Then they saw Li Zhong, the master of fighting tiger. Lu Da wanted to save Jin Cuilian. Shi Jin generously gave ten liang of silver. Luda killed Zheng Tu and was wanted by the government. When Shi Jin went to Yanzhou to continue his search for a master, he failed. But Li Ruilan was betrayed and caught in prison. After Dongping house was broken, Shi Jin killed Li Ruilan's family. When Liangshan got together, Shijin star was tianweixing, ranking the 23rd in Liangshan. His position was eight tiger cavalry and vanguard envoy of the horse army.

Character ending

Under the Yuling pass, Shi Jin was shot by Pang Wanchun. Shi Xiu, Li Zhong and other five people rescued him and retreated. On the way, Shi Xiu and other five people were also shot dead.

Among the outlaws of the marsh in the simplified version, the same as Yu Ling pass, in addition to Shi Jin and Shi Xiu, there is also Zhang Jin, a general of Hebei Province. However, his whereabouts are not mentioned later. Some analysts believe that Zhang Jin may replace Shi Jin and make Shi Jin escape.

After his death, he was named zhongwulang by the imperial court.

Shi Jin is one of the thirty-six leaders of Song Jiang's subordinates in Yuan Dynasty. In the song and Yuan Dynasties, Gong Kai wrote in His Song Jiang 36 people's praise: "the nine characters are the history of dragons, the number of dragons is Xiao Jiu, and you have nine characters. Steal from the East emperor, drive five color cloud These two literary works are recognized as the prototype or blueprint of outlaws of the marsh, and also the earlier source of the image of Shi Jin.

There is a story with Shi Jin as the protagonist in the drama of Yuan Dynasty.

Others think that the prototype of Shi Jin is Shi bin, or a mixture of his image.
