Study and work experience
Chen Jiamin was admitted to the middle school attached to the Central Conservatory of music in 1955 and graduated from the orchestral Department of the Central Conservatory of music in 1966. During the semester, he studied trumpet and brass Chamber Ensemble under the guidance of German aloisbambulad, held many solo concerts, and recorded German composer kurzd Trumpet Concerto. From 1966 to 1980, he was the director of brass sound and chief trumpet of the central orchestra. Under the concerto of the central Symphony Orchestra, Mr. Li Delun conducted a successful solo concert, and successively participated in the cooperative performances of Boston Orchestra directed by Ozawa Zhenger and Philadelphia Orchestra directed by o'mandy. In 1980, he was invited to perform in the West Berlin Orchestra directed by von Karajan. During this period, he was successively employed by the Central Conservatory of music, the central Orchestra, the Central Radio Orchestra, the Central Opera House, the Beijing Orchestra and the general air administration military band. From 1969 to 1973, he was also the chief trumpet of the Central Ballet. in 1980, he was employed by the New York Symphony Orchestra of the United States and studied brass teaching and Chamber Ensemble at the Juilliard Conservatory of music. From 1982 to 1999, he was employed by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, and served as the artistic director of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Ministry of education, the military Symphony Orchestra of the Ministry of national defense, and the National University of Singapore. Over the past 20 years, he has performed more than 1600 symphonic concerts with the Singapore Orchestra and visited more than 20 countries in the world. In 1997, at the invitation of the China Music Association, the Central Conservatory of music and the military band, he gave lectures in the Central Conservatory of music, Qingdao and other places. In the same year, he led the Singapore Brass Quintet to perform in China. In 1999, he returned to China as the art director of Guangzhou Orchestra and the chief trumpet. In 2000, he was a foreign expert, trumpet professor and Postgraduate Tutor of Shanghai Conservatory of music.
