Personal experience

Wang Mingtai was born in a well-off family and successfully entered the No.1 volunteer Jianzhong school in high school. In the third year of senior high school, he gave up the joint examination because he questioned the joint examination system. During the re examination, he transferred to the drama department of the National Academy of Arts through the introduction of his then classmate and current film director Yang Shunqing, and then started another chapter of his life.

Acting experience

After graduation, Wang Mingtai, who majored in directing, joined the "people's heart studio" founded by Wang Xiaodi, his teacher at the National Academy of Arts. Starting from the famous series "hen with duckling", he participated in the production, assistant director, director and screenwriter of many unit plays and series. Later, he served as other directors of "people's heart studio", such as Cai Mingliang's "River" and Chen YuXun's "tropical garden" As the assistant director of fish, he has also worked as the producer of many films, such as Wang Xiaodi's my neuropathy and Chen YuXun's love is coming.

Like most national film directors, Wang Ming Tai lives by wandering in the TV and film circles. However, he is still working hard towards his dream of film director. In 2001, Wang Mingtai tried to write a script about his youth, and was selected into the excellent script of the information bureau of that year. This play is the first on-screen work "salted soybean milk" directed by Wang Mingtai in 2002.

In the depressed domestic film market, Wang Mingtai continues to plan the shooting of domestic films, and tries to combine films with other industries. In 2005, Wang Mingtai's second film "lovers" was shortlisted for the international young director unit of the Taipei Film Festival, and won the "most potential award" in the competition outside the 62nd Venice Film Festival.
