Yang Yong (April 1926 August 2007), whose scientific name is Yang Weizhong, was born in Beijing.

Born in April 1926 in Yangfu Mazhuang village, Fangshan District, Beijing. The ancestors of Xianghuang Banner. Great grandfather was the imperial doctor of Qing Dynasty. In his later years, he retired to his hometown and set up a "Yizhuang hall" to help the world. He was good at "cinnabar palm skill". He was healthy and walked fast, so he was known as "whirlwind Yang". For decades, he has been a general instructor and professor of the armed forces Association of the state and Hubei Provincial Sports Commission in military academies. His grandfather was the imperial doctor of the Qing Dynasty, and his disciples spread from all walks of life, from officials to provincial and ministerial levels, such as the late master of Cheng Xiangxian, the central guard regiment of Zhongnanhai and the chief instructor of the armed police force for four consecutive years. On August 25, 2007, Yang Yong, a teacher, accidentally slipped while taking a shower at home and hit his back on the ground. No one found him and rescued him in time. He died at the age of 82.

When he was young, Yang Yong learned "Zhusha Zhanggong" from his father. Together with his second younger brother Yang Weiwei, he learned from master Guo (a native of Hejian) to practice Shaolin xiaoshenquan, erhu Quan, Dao and cudgel. In the winter of 1937, he moved to qianyuanensi Hutong and mianhuahutong in Beijing. He was admitted to huaiyou primary school in Kuanjie, Beijing. His physical education teacher, surnamed Chen, was good at martial arts. He once sent him to represent the school in the martial arts performance meeting of Dongcheng District, Beiping city to perform sabre art. Later, he moved to Xidan pocket Hutong in Xicheng, so he went to Shengxin primary school in liulansu Hutong, east of Xishiku Catholic Church. After graduation, he was admitted to the junior high school attached to Fu Jen University and studied Changquan with his martial arts teacher. China's football celebrity Li Fenglou is a physical education teacher. At that time, he took them to play football, so Yang Yong became interested in football. The music teacher is Li Huanzhi, who teaches them to sing many progressive songs. In 1942, he was admitted to the fourth Senior High School of Beijing Municipal High School. He learned to practice "Jin Ba Shou" boxing with Zhao Tiezheng, a teacher of Beijing Wulin high school. He studied calligraphy with Mr. Ding Wenjun, the famous calligrapher in Beijing. He studied English with Professor Zhao Lilian, director of the Department of western languages at Peking Normal University. He also studied Japanese in the Japanese class of Huabei Xinbao at that time. He was admitted to the Chinese Department of Peking University in 1945. He was able to listen to the lectures of Zhou Zuoren, Zhao Yintang, Zeng zhaolun and other professors. In 1946, he went to the Chinese Department of Nankai University in Tianjin, where Li Guangtian, Zhang Qingchang and Xing Qinglan gave lectures. Mr. Yang Yong selected the language group, which was favored by Professor Yang qianzhai, and studied oracle bone inscriptions with him. From this, we can read the ancient social history of Guo Moruo and Jian Bozan, and gradually establish historical materialism, so we accepted the propaganda and education of the Communist Party, and actively participated in the progressive student movement at that time. As a child, he loved drama. When he was in Peking University, he joined the "beiwen drama club". At that time, he joined the "Hongguang drama club". He performed many live newspaper dramas, such as "on the eve of the trial", "Sanjiang Hao", "a bag of rice", "Ode to peace" and "Zhuluo meeting". He played a salesman in the "put down your whip" drama, played "jinbashou" boxing, and performed one palm Kaishi. He played Yang Qi in a large-scale drama "nightclub" and served as the vice president of the drama club of Nankai University.
In the autumn of 1948, he went to the liberated areas of North China and studied in "North China University" in Zhengding. He was elected chairman of the student union of class 21 and district team (500 people). In March 1949, he was assigned to the South working group of the four fields as the leader of the district. After going south, he has been working as a political teacher and political work in our army's senior military academy. He has won many awards for his meritorious service. He won the title of "pacemaker" of Hankou advanced walking school. He is the main player of the football team of the senior walking school. Because of her love of literature and art, she also actively participated in the school's spare time literary activities and played Zhou Ping in the performance of the large-scale drama "Thunderstorm". In 1955, Zhang Yinzhi introduced Geng Xiaguang, a martial arts expert, and he had many contacts with him. In 1958, the top class of Jinan Military Region came to the advanced walking school to perform. Mr. Yang Yong talked with them and discussed the problems of fighting. In 1966, the Cultural Revolution was launched. Unexpectedly, Mr. Yang Yong was greatly wronged and persecuted. The senior walking school was abolished in 1969 and transferred to another place in 1975. He was unwilling to continue to engage in political education. He wanted to do some practical work. He learned that the Hubei Provincial Sports Commission was going to build a wushu team. Because he had practiced martial arts since he was a child, had a good knowledge of martial arts, and was interested in it, he went to Hubei Provincial Sports Commission to prepare for the construction of a wushu team. He served as coach and Secretary of the first branch. In recent years, Hubei wushu team has rapidly entered the advanced ranks of the National Wushu team from zero. Mr. Yang Yong has been awarded by excellent coaches for many times.
In 1977, Mr. Yang Yong led the team members to participate in the National Wushu Performance conference held in Linhe, Inner Mongolia. At the end of the conference, many coaches, referees and veteran boxers came off to perform. His performance of "Mian Ba Shou Quan" was well received. In 1978, Yang Yong was specially invited to participate in the national martial arts performance conference held in Xiangtan, Hunan Province. He once again performed the "eight hands of brocade". Li Tianji, the martial arts director of the State Sports Commission, asked him to introduce the origin, characteristics and fighting methods of boxing to the conference with Sha Guozheng and the veteran boxing master of Wuzu boxing in Fujian Province What is not a fight is a fight. Mr. Yang Yong won the "special performance award". Therefore, Professor Xi Yun Tai wrote "Jin Ba Shou" boxing into "the history of Chinese martial arts" and listed it as the 25th section of "boxing". In 1980, Beijing Institute of physical education recorded a picture, which was included in the college's traditional martial arts album. Mr. Yang Yong has performed many times in Nanjing, Tianjin, Henan, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Taiyuan, Wudang Mountain, Hainan Island and other places. And in Qinhuangdao, Fujian, Jingdezhen, Wuhan, Anqing, Beijing and other places taught this boxing. In 1991, the first and third issues of "martial arts fitness" magazine published the theory, skills, training methods and breaking hands of "Jin Ba Shou Quan".
In 1980, Yang Yong and Professor Bei Jiade of Wuhan Institute of physical education initiated the establishment of the Qigong Association of Hubei Province and Wuhan city. Yang Yong once served as vice president and acting president. In 1981, the internal publication "Qigong theory and practice" published the article "Wushu Zhanggong and Qi" (subtitled as "Introduction to iron sand palm and cinnabar palm"). It disclosed the five movements of "cinnabar palm" and the four movements of "iron sand palm", with the main purpose of telling, elucidating and promoting the relationship between Wushu and Qi. In 1982, it was reprinted in the fourth issue of Wulin and the second issue of Qigong and science, and attracted the attention of martial arts and Qigong circles. In the same year, Yang Yong published "coach Yang Yong answers readers' questions" in the 10th issue of Wulin. This paper describes his view that he does not approve of practicing "iron sand palm" and advocates practicing "cinnabar palm". In 1986, at the Symposium on "the history of national fitness and health preservation" held by the State Sports Commission, he performed 10 movements of "cinnabar palm" in the tiger and dragon parts. Later, in the "martial arts fitness" magazine further elaborated the fitness value of cinnabar palm Gong and its important role in martial arts. As a matter of fact, "cinnabar palm skill" is a secret and excellent skill of martial arts, which can be called a unique skill in the martial arts.
In 1980, the National Wushu Association was established, and Mr. Yang Yong was elected member of the Chinese Wushu Association and member of the academic committee. In 1980, the Wushu Association was established in Hubei Province. In 1982, the National Wushu excavation and arrangement began. Mr. Yang Yong was responsible for the excavation and arrangement of Wushu in Hubei Province. The whole team won the "advanced collective" award of the National Sports Commission, and Mr. Yang Yong was awarded the "advanced individual" award twice by the National Sports Commission. In 1984, he wrote a preliminary study of Wudang boxing, which refuted the theory of Wudang without boxing for the first time. With scientific views and detailed materials, he affirmed that Wudang has boxing and handed it over to the Wushu digging group of the State Sports Commission. In 1987, he read this article at the first Wushu theory seminar jointly held by the Academy of Wushu of the State Sports Commission and the magazine Wuhun in Urumqi, Xinjiang. He edited yuejiaquan and sorted out Wudang Taijiquan, which is the correction of Wudang Chunyang Quan. He is the deputy editor and writer of Hubei Wushu history. In addition, he has published many papers in magazines such as "martial spirit", "Wulin", "Wudang", "martial arts fitness" and "Chinese martial arts". He has been the referee of many national Wushu competitions, the chief referee of provincial Wushu competitions, the vice president of National Wushu competitions and the arbitrator. He is the national honorary Wushu referee. He has been employed as an honorary principal and head coach of many martial arts institutes. In 1984, it promoted the establishment of Wudang boxing Research Association and served as vice president. Entrusted by the central Ministry of culture, Yang Yong is the only consultant of the documentary Wudang boxing, which is produced by Hubei film studio. The film has been translated into eight languages and communicated with more than 140 countries. He won the contribution award of Wushu in 1988 China International Wushu Festival. He has played roles in Wudang, the Royal nun, the Northeast volunteer army, and the strange love of sword. He retired in 1989 and served as the director of China folk medicine research and Development Association and the director of traditional Qigong research center.
