In 1943, he took Deng xiaolanfang as his teacher and studied Cantonese Opera rehearsal. He sang in the ancient tune of "zhongzhouyin", an ancient rehearsal. Later, he made a living by playing drums and bamboo and performing. After the restoration of Hong Kong, he returned to Hong Kong and received several famous teachers to pass on arts. He also studied arts with Yuan Xiaotian and collected the achievements of various schools.
In 1946, he made the first film "selling meat to raise orphans".
In 1948, Lin Jiasheng became the last disciple of Xue juexian, the great master of Cantonese opera. He has also participated in Qianfeng, dalongfeng and xianfengming troupes.
In 1962, Lin Jiasheng established the "qingxinsheng Cantonese Opera Troupe" and served as Wen wusheng. He cooperated with screenwriters Xu Zilang, pan Zhuo, Li Shaoyun and ye Shaode.
In 1965, Lin Jiasheng set up the "songxinsheng Cantonese Opera Troupe" and created more than 40 sets of excellent Cantonese opera, known as the "Lin School" art. Many of the first plays cooperated with Chen Haofu. These excellent Cantonese operas include "thunder, golden drum and sound of battle", "merciless sword, love for heaven", "Zhou Yu", "Lou Tai Hui" and "love and hatred on three nights".
In 1976, Lin Jiasheng filmed 26 episodes of Cantonese opera for TV station, actively and successfully promoting and preserving traditional opera art.
In 1993, after 38 performances, Lin Jiasheng officially faded out of the professional stage and moved to Canada with his wife hongdouzi (formerly Wei Xiaoling, a native of Cantonese Opera).
In 2009, Lin Jiasheng returned to Hong Kong to perform in the Red Mansion, setting a record of full sales in one hour. Since then, he has been in Hong Kong for many times as a volunteer tutor of the Academy of performing arts, focusing on performing arts.
In 2015, Lin Jiasheng's Apprentice Zhou Zhenji confirmed that Lin Jiasheng was hospitalized for emergency treatment that night and died at 23:13. The funeral will be held on August 20.
Lin Jiasheng, a famous Cantonese Opera actor who bid farewell to the stage in 1993, performed a charity yuequ evening of Lin Jiasheng at the Academy of performing arts on September 2, 2007 in order to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of Lan Bao's marriage with his wife and raise money for Lin Jiasheng's charity fund. At the reception on March 7, 2007, Mrs. Sheng's wife, Hong Douzi, admitted that she suffered from Parkinson's disease, and that she also suffered from cancer of the intestinal wall. She will be hospitalized for chemotherapy today.
On August 4, 2015, Hong Kong media reported that Lin Jiasheng, a Cantonese Opera actress who has contributed a lot to the world of Cantonese opera, died at the age of 82 after being sent to hospital in a coma at home the night before last (August 4).

Lin Jiasheng's Cantonese opera series was produced by brilliant Publishing Co., Ltd. as a VCD and published in 1999-2000. The five unpublished volumes are (Chuang San Guan), (blood on the Bank of Lianxi River), (Zhu Bian Hui Chao), (robbing the bride) and (Lunwen).
Performance works
"Thunder, golden drum and the sound of a horse" is a love story about the Warring States conflict, the forced marriage of the king of Qin, and the bravery of General Zhao to win his lover's return.
The son of the Wei family falls in love with his enemy's daughter. He tries to live and die between the two families, but he does not hesitate to sacrifice for love.
In love Xia naoxuan palace, Chu batian comes back from victory. The king drives a ten mile long pavilion to meet him in the suburbs. The king's daughter meets a thief on an outing. Fortunately, she meets Jiandi, a strong man who is brave enough to rescue the princess. It's love at first sight. Jiandi rushes into the palace every night to meet the princess. They love each other and are led by Chu batian to search the palace. Jiandi is imprisoned and rescued by his brothers in the mountains. Personal life
On September 2, 43 years ago, Lin Jiasheng (Lin Jiasheng's index) married his wife, Lin weixiaoling, miss hongdouzi, on the day after typhoon Wendai hit Hong Kong. 43 years of ups and downs make their love more faithful and valuable. With the blessing of many relatives and friends, they spent a sweet sapphire wedding anniversary on September 2, 2007.
Lin Runtian, the youngest son of Lin Jiasheng, an accountant, was found burning charcoal in his home in Kowloon City on the morning of September 29, 2003. He was sent to the hospital for rescue and was certified dead. Police seized a suicide note in the unit, revealing that they were (unhappy) looking for death, while their relatives in Hong Kong had informed their parents in Canada, Lin Jiasheng and Hong Douzi. Lin Runtian (39), who committed suicide, is an accountant. The police later found a suicide note to his parents at his residence, which roughly revealed that (although people around him treated him well, his decision had nothing to do with others, but he was unhappy...).
