Qi Shilong

Qi Shilong, born in Beijing in 1941, is a member of the Communist Party of China. He is a professor, Postgraduate Tutor and member of the academic committee of Beijing Film Academy.

In 1964, he graduated from the performance Department of Beijing Academy of Arts. He has been teaching in the performance Department of Beijing Film Academy since 1978. Professor in 1994. In 1997, he was the director of the performance Department of Beijing City University.

At present, he is the director of the performance Department of Beijing City University and the honorary Dean of Jinma Film Academy of Beijing Vocational College of science and technology.

Professor Qi Shilong has been teaching for a long time in the front line of teaching. He has successively served as the chief teacher and keynote teacher of more than ten undergraduate and graduate classes in the departments of performance, directing, literature and photography. Wang Zhiwen, Zhou Lijing, Zhang Fengyi, Huang Lei, Jiang Wenli, Xu Qing, Liu Zi, Jia Ni, Jiang Wu, Xu Jinglei and other film and television stars have all been their disciples. Professor Qi Shilong has been selected to be included in the list of celebrities in Contemporary Chinese Art Circles (No. 1465).
