Early experience

When he was a sophomore in Nanchang No.8 Middle School, Yu Entai once won the first place in the class in the exam. Acting experience

In 1995, Yu Entai was admitted to the undergraduate class of TV major of TV Department of Shanghai Drama Academy. He has been in University for four years and won the scholarship every year.

From February 1999 to October 1999, Yu Entai worked in the program department of the newly established Macao satellite TV tourism station, planning, directing and hosting many variety shows, and began his hosting career.

In January 2000, he took part in the national postgraduate examination for the direction of host of Shanghai Academy of drama, ranking first in the total separation of the whole academy, with English and professional theory ranking first.

In 2002, he won a full scholarship from Oxford University to study Shakespeare's plays as an exchange student for one semester. In the same year, he took part in the sitcom "city men and women" directed by Shang Jing and written by Ning Caishen, playing Tom Lee, who is a bit silly and proficient in computers.

In 2005, he won the first place in the doctoral program of director in Shanghai Academy of drama, and later chose to extend it. On January 21, 2015, Shi Linzi, the host of Yu entaihe Tourism Satellite TV, received a marriage certificate from the Civil Affairs Bureau of Yunyan District, Guiyang. On March 8 of the same year, the wedding of Yu Entai and Shi Linzi was held in Beijing.

On August 26, 2015, Yu Entai announced that she would become a father.

On November 9, 2016, Yu Entai got his second child and announced that he would be named "little Luohan".
