Zhao Chongji, film director of Hong Kong, China. Born in Hong Kong in 1961. He graduated from the Department of foreign languages of NTU in 1984, majoring in Chinese and foreign literature. However, he was addicted to drama and film. He directed three stage plays and three eight mile short films. His debut work "occupy" was shown in the Hong Kong Super 88 exhibition. After returning to Hong Kong in 1984, he immediately joined ATV as an assistant director. In 1986, he was promoted to director. In 1987, he passed TVB's "corner digging" campaign and still serves as director. In 1991, he was promoted to senior director. He has shot "half life fate", "dancing with Wolves" and so on. The first episode of "Legend of ten thousand families" won the excellence award of New York Film and Television Festival. From the end of 1991 to the beginning of 1992, he directed the first film "life is full of happiness" -- lost in business and art. In 1994, he directed "Sha Dian fish murder" and so on.

In 1996, "three injured policemen" was nominated as "best film award" and "Best Director Award". Zheng won the best actor award. In 1997, Huang peixia won the best supporting actress award of East Asia Film Festival.
