Bai Wenbiao

Bai Wenbiao

Bai Wenbiao (1921-august 2, 2007), male, actor and teacher of Cantonese opera, formerly known as Zhao Hongfu, was engaged in the art of Cantonese Opera in the 1940s. His main works include family change, struggle, biography of Shooting Heroes, etc.

Acting experience

He has been engaged in Cantonese Opera since 1940s. In the 1950s, he joined the film entertainment circle as a screenwriter and deputy director. He once filmed many classic dramas with director Li Hanxiang. After that, he joined TVB Hong Kong and worked with movie stars such as Chow Yun fat, Wang Ming Tsuen, and Zheng Yu Ling to perform in classic dramas such as family change, struggle, and the story of the arched hero.

In the 1990s, he immigrated to New York and fell in love with Xiaomei in Liyuan mingdanyuan. He trained Cantonese Opera talents in Chinatown for many years and made great achievements.

At 4:00 on August 2, 2007, he died at Saint Cloud hospital in Manhattan, New York. He was 86 years old.
