Li CHENFENG, male, was born on April 10, 1909 in Xinhui, Guangdong Province. By 1978, he had edited and directed more than 80 Cantonese films, eight Mandarin films and ten Chaozhou films. "Spring", a Cantonese film adapted and directed by Zoomlion in 1953, won the honor award of excellent film from 1949 to 1955 by the Ministry of culture in 1957. His masterpieces include cold night, Su Xiaoxiao, a lonely sea of people, Xi Shi, Li Houzhu and so on.

Personal profile
He graduated from middle school, worked as a conductor in Guangzhou cinema, and took part in performing civilized drama. In 1929, he studied in the drama school attached to the Guangdong drama Research Institute. In 931, he organized the times drama company with ludun and Wu Hui. From 1932 to Hong Kong, he was a middle school teacher and engaged in drama activities. In 1937, he worked as a filmmaker and worked with Luton to write the screenplay Wen Shengcai's words. After the outbreak of the Pacific War, he joined the star drama company and performed in Guilin, Vietnam and Singapore. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, he returned to Hong Kong and still worked as a screenwriter. His screenplays include a new dream of Red Mansions, sister flowers, luxury family, etc. In 1949, he wrote and directed the Cantonese film "keep the clouds open and see the moon".
