Han Xu
Han Xu, born on October 31, 1999 in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is a Chinese professional women's basketball player, a member of the National Youth Women's basketball team, a center, and a member of the WNBA New York Freeman team.
Han Xu was born in the basketball team of the Affiliated High School of Tsinghua University. He joined Xinjiang Tianshan team in 2018 and began his career in WCBA. On April 11, 2019, in the 2019 WNBA draft, Han Xu was selected by the New York liberals in the 14th place, and began his career in the WNBA.
On September 1, 2018, Han Xu won the women's Basketball Championship of the Asian Games in Jakarta.
Early experience
In 2011, Han Xu entered the Ma class of Tsinghua high school to study basketball.
On April 26, 2017, in the 2016-2017 China high school women's Basketball League, the Affiliated High School of Tsinghua beat Changsha Yali middle school 74-49 to win the championship trophy, and Han Xu won the MVP (most valuable player) title.
In the 2017 National Games, Han Xu represented Shandong in the women's youth group, averaging 18 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.7 blocks.

On October 14, 2018, Han Xu, a member of the Chinese women's basketball team, officially landed in the WCBA arena as Xinjiang team. On October 18, in the first round of the 2018-19 WCBA regular season, Xinjiang sports lottery team lost 72-73 to Daqing Yixin chemical team. Han Xu played 33.6 minutes on behalf of Xinjiang sports lottery team, scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks, completing the WCBA debut. On November 27, in the 15th round of the regular season of the 2018-19 WCBA League, Xinjiang sports lottery team beat Yichuan Agricultural Bank 76-66. Han Xu represented Xinjiang and scored 10 points, 8 rebounds and 1 block. In the 2018-19 season, Han Xu played 34 times in the WCBA regular season on behalf of Xinjiang sports lottery team, averaging 16.1 minutes per game, scoring 15.9 points, one assist and 8.9 rebounds.
On November 28, 2019, in the third round of the WCBA regular season, Xinjiang sports lottery team beat Daqing Yixin chemical team 112-47. Han Xu represented Xinjiang in 28 minutes and scored 20 points, one assist and 15 rebounds, 20 points being the highest score of the season. In the 2019-20 season, Han Xu made 16 appearances in WCBA on behalf of Xinjiang sports lottery team, averaging 28.3 minutes, with 13.4 points, 1.4 assists and 8.9 rebounds.
On October 22, 2020, the seventh round of the regular season of the 2020-21 WCBA League ended last night. Xinjiang team center Han Xu scored 33 points, 12 rebounds, 4 blocks, 3 steals, and 33 points, setting a new personal scoring record. 112-56 Tianjin, Xinjiang.
WNBA period
On April 11, 2019, in the 2019 WNBA draft, Han Xu was selected by the New York liberals in 14th place. On May 9, the New York Freeman beat the Chinese women's basketball team 89-71. Han Xu played for the New York Freeman team in 21 minutes and 27 seconds. He made 6 of 8 two-point shots and 7 of 8 free throws. He got 19 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. In the 2019 season, Han Xu played an average of 7.9 minutes on behalf of the New York liberals, scoring 3.0 points, 0.1 assists and 0.8 rebounds.
National team period
On April 3, 2016, in the 2016 international young women's basketball Atalas Series in Foshan, Han Xu made five appearances on behalf of the Chinese women's basketball team, averaging 32 minutes, scoring 14.5 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.2 blocks, helping the Chinese team to get the fourth place. On November 18, Han Xu made five appearances on behalf of the Chinese women's basketball team in the U18 women's basketball Asian Youth Championship, averaging 13.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.8 blocks and 1.2 steals.
On August 6, 2018, Han Xu was selected into the list of Chinese sports delegation for the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta. On August 15, in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Han Xu made seven appearances on behalf of the Chinese women's basketball team, averaging 14.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3 blocks, helping the Chinese team to win the championship in the Asian Games. On September 21, Han Xu was shortlisted for the Chinese team in the 2018 women's Basketball World Cup. In October, Han Xu made seven appearances on behalf of the Chinese women's basketball team in the women's Basketball World Cup, averaging 8.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.4 blocks.
On September 21, 2019, Han Xu was selected into the list of 12 players in the Asian cup of China Women's basketball team in 2019. On September 29, in the final of the women's basketball Asian Cup in 2019, the Chinese women's basketball team won the second place, and Han Xu was selected as the best team in the competition. On October 15, Han Xu was seconded by Bayi women's basketball team to participate in the 7th world military games. On October 20, in the first stage of the women's basketball team of the military games, Han Xu won the 128-43 victory over Germany on behalf of the Chinese team and got 19 points and 5 rebounds. On November 13, Han Xu was selected into the list of 12 players in the Asian regional preliminary competition of the women's basketball qualification competition for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
On March 15, 2021, she was selected into the training list of Chinese women's basketball team for the Tokyo Olympic Games officially released by the Chinese Basketball Association.
