Research direction

Wheat genomics, bioinformatics and epigenetics.

In this study, wheat was taken as the research object, and a series of original researches were carried out by means of bioinformatics, genomics and epigenetics. At present, the main research directions include three aspects: (1) combining wheat multi omics data, using bioinformatics analysis tools to integrate genome, transcriptome and methylome data, answering the questions of wheat polyploid evolution, gene interaction network, epigenetic regulation and so on; (2) designing and developing bioinformatics tools according to the complex genomic characteristics of wheat In order to improve the efficiency of wheat multi omics research, informatics computing tools or data visualization platform should be built; (3) new bioinformatics research methods should be designed for polyploid evolution, complex regulatory networks, DNA methylation and other research problems by combining algorithms and statistics.
