Cheng Weihao

Cheng Wei Hao, born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan Province, is a director and screenwriter in Taiwan, China. He graduated from the Department of advertising communication of Fu Jen University (Bachelor's degree) and the Department of film studies of Taiwan University of Arts (Master's degree).

In 2008, he directed his first short film "what the hell is going on", which won the best new director award at the southern Taiwan Film Festival. In 2010, he directed the short film sniper, which was selected as the short film of Jinma Film Festival. In 2015, he directed the short film "the death of the security guard"; in the same year, he directed the thriller suspense film "little girl in red", and was shortlisted for the best new director award of the 53rd Taiwan Film Golden Horse Award. In 2016, he directed the suspense crime film "the pursuit of witnesses" and was nominated for the best director award of the 20th Shanghai International Film Festival. In 2017, he directed the thriller suspense film little girl in red 2. In 2019, he was the director of the MV "girl in red" by Jolin Tsai.
