Early experience
Wu Haiyan, who was born in Yanji Town, Shuyang County, Jiangsu Province, was originally a martial arts all-round daoma Huadan on the stage of Beijing opera. She was engaged in film performance. She could be said to be a half way monk and was known as "Shangying yizhihua" at that time. Wu Haiyan was born in December 1954 in a family full of artistic atmosphere in Shanghai. Her father was a senior cadre (army level) who transferred from the army to the local area. Because of his love of literature and art, he established the Shanghai Peking Opera Theater and held the post of president. My mother is an actor in the art troupe of the southern Jiangsu military region. Wu Haiyan ranked third at home. Influenced by her family, Wu Haiyan began to learn to sing Beijing opera at the age of five and studied in the small class of Shanghai Drama Academy. Because she was the youngest student in the class and was beautiful and lovely, her teachers and classmates called her "doll". Soon after, her father sent her to Fujian drama school to study drama, and spent six years. During the semester, she received strict basic training in both civil and martial arts. In 1965, at the age of 11, Wu Haiyan graduated from the theater school and became the youngest secondary school graduate in China. Because of her excellent performance, she was left in Fujian Peking Opera Troupe. In 1974, Wu Haiyan played the heroine Haixia, a valiant female militiaman, in the film "Haixia" of Beijing Film Studio. Haixia caused a great response among the masses. After the "Cultural Revolution", Wu Haiyan played a young woman Lu Kun who died in the jungle for the scientific research cause of the motherland in the film "the end of the green sea". In 1981, Wu Haiyan played a minor supporting role in the prosecutor, a disabled dancer. In the performance, she fully experienced the deep pain of the character's unfortunate disability and her heartfelt attachment to the stage life, and accurately revealed the character's mood through the expression. in the 1990s, Wu Haiyan is still active on the screen, such as the girl selling big cakes, the legend of Huansha girl, companion flying, hello Pacific, etc.
Acting experience
In the "Cultural Revolution", my father was wrongly classified as a capitalist in the party, and was persecuted and maimed until his family was copied and put in prison. At the age of 14, Wu Haiyan suddenly turned from Gao Gan's daughter into a gangster's child, and was assigned to the remote rural labor reform. On the contrary, the hard environment makes Wu Haiyan more obsessed with Peking opera art. In addition to her hard work, she devotes herself to experiencing and playing all kinds of female roles, from the famous girl, the chivalrous girl, the little Jasper to the old lady of Longzhong. Her performance of Beijing Opera "Red Youth" won the first prize in the East China cultural performance. In the early 1970s, she worked in the cultural troupe of the provincial military region and participated in the performances of various heroines in Beijing Opera "Ode to the Dragon River", "red light", "outwit the mighty Tiger Mountain" and "surprise attack on the white tiger Troupe". In 1973, at the age of 19, Wu Haiyan was a beautiful girl with bright eyes and bright teeth. Her handsome appearance and solid basic skills made her a promising actress in people's eyes. That year, Qian Jiang, a famous director of Beijing Film Group, went to Fujian to select location and actors for Haixia. After watching Wu HaiYan's role as Jiang Shuiying in the Peking Opera Ode to the dragon river, he decided to let her play the heroine Haixia in Haixia. Wu Haiyan, who never dreamed of acting in a movie, has stepped into a new world ever since. Although she was not flexible enough in front of the camera due to her first shooting, her strong temperament and natural and straightforward performance style were highly praised by the audience. In 1975, Wu Haiyan returned to Fujian Peking Opera Troupe. Soon after, she took part in two ancient costume plays, including the Beijing Opera red light. In 1978, Wu Haiyan was transferred to Shanghai Film Studio. After entering the film, the first film she took part in was "the end of the green sea". In this film, she plays Lu Kun, a college student and geological prospector in the 1930s. In 1979, Wu Haiyan was invited to play the protagonist Yang Ying in waiting for the red leaves in the mountains directed by Tang Huada and Zhou Yun in Lushan love directed by Huang zumo. As Zhou Yun in love on Lushan Mountain is an overseas Chinese from Taiwan visiting relatives in mainland China, director Huang zumo first thought of Wu Haiyan as Zhou Yun. Because Wu Haiyan is elegant and handsome in her life, and her temperament is very suitable for Zhou Yun. Although Wu Haiyan also likes the role of Zhou Yun very much, she first received an invitation from director Tang Huada to play the hero Yang Ying in "when the mountains are full of red leaves". In order not to lose her honesty, Wu Haiyan gave up her love, but director Huang zumo had no choice but to choose Zhang Yu. Ten years later, when a reporter interviewed Wu Haiyan and asked about Zhou Yun's role in love on Lushan Mountain, Wu Haiyan said meaningfully: "I believe in fate very much, and it's very important to meet people in my life.". In waiting for the red leaves on the mountain, director Tang Huada asked Wu Haiyan to play the leading role of Yang Ying. Yang Ying is a third mate who grew up from a girl in a mountain village. She is simple, hardworking and affectionate. Wu HaiYan's temperament is more delicate than her. But on the one hand, she mobilized her life accumulation when she was sent to the countryside; on the other hand, she went to the Three Gorges to supplement her life. She tried to understand and explore the inner beauty of the characters, overcome her own weakness in temperament, and finally successfully extended Yang Ying and her brother Yang Ming's love from "brother and sister" to admiration, and finally developed into her sister's persistent love for her brother's unfinished career Several levels of emotional change, clearly reflected, has been unanimously praised by people. The film made Wu Haiyan nominated for best actress in the Hundred Flowers Award. At the end of the same year, Wu Haiyan and director Tang Huada attended the fifth Cairo International Film Festival in Egypt on behalf of the Chinese film group at the invitation of the chairman of the Egyptian film writers and Critics Association, Mr. mlah. When "wait till the red leaves are all over the mountain" was shown, the attendance rate reached 100%, and the audience applauded warmly. In 1980, Wu Haiyan accepted the role of white lotus in the film white lotus. At that time, it was said that Wu Haiyan was too delicate, and her character was far away from her role. She was worried that she would not be able to play the heroism of the "white lotus" heroine in the green forest. Wu Haiyan did not flinch in the face of difficulties, so she really worked hard. First of all, I studied the script, read it five or six times, mainly to understand the inner world of the characters, and strive for similarity. In addition, Wu Haiyan also read novels describing female heroes of the same kind and watched many previous "chivalrous women" films (such as brave Anna Hu and other films showing female heroes) to learn from them. Thinking of Lin heiniang and other heroines in red light, she gradually has confidence in playing white lotus. Secondly, in the modeling, she absorbed the traditional modeling and movements of national characteristics, such as slanting braids, waist band, Cape, waist belt, two small pistols, carrying a commanding knife and riding boots. From the inner character and temperament to the external body and action, the character of white lotus has the spirit of green forest woman chivalry, which is not only rough and strong, but also gorgeous and moving. In 1978, Wu Haiyan entered the Shanghai Film Studio and took part in the performance "when the mountains are full of red leaves", playing Yang Fu, a girl who grew up in the countryside. In the performance, she pays attention to real and delicate, showing complex and rich emotional changes in a clear way, especially in the scene of "brother" passing away. Later, in the film "white lotus", she plays the female bandit leader white lotus, which shows the characters' bold and strong appearance, delicate and sensitive heart. In 1981, Wu Haiyan played a supporting role in the prosecutor, a disabled dancer. In the performance, she fully experienced the deep pain of the character's unfortunate disability and her attachment to the stage life, and accurately revealed the character's mood through the expression. in the 1990s, Wu Haiyan was still active on the screen, and constantly participated in the shooting of TV series, such as "companion fly", "girl selling big cakes", "Legend of Huansha girl", "Hello, Pacific", etc.
