Ma Changli
Ma Changli (1930-november 22, 2016), male, a famous Peking opera performing artist in China, is a disciple of Tan Fuying and the adopted son of Ma Lianliang. He has studied Yang Baosen's singing seriously and assiduously. He also has the advantages of Tan, Ma and Yang, such as Tan's "red maned horse", Ma's "ten old Anliu", "borrow the east wind", Yang's "Wu Zixu" and "Hongyang cave".
On November 22, 2016, Ma Changli died in Beijing Friendship Hospital at the age of 86.

Ma Changli (1930-2016.11), a famous Peking opera performing artist, is a veteran actor of Beijing Peking opera academy. His original name is Chongli, and his ancestral home is Beijing. When he was a child, he enrolled in the Rongchun social science class in Beijing to study art. After graduation, he learned from Liu Shengtong, an old student, and studied the art of Yang school. Later, he took Tan Fuying as his teacher and was instructed by Ma Lianliang (his adopted son) and Li Shaochun. He learned from others' strong points and could sing many kinds of famous dramas. His singing "Wu Zixu" and "lost Street Pavilion · empty city plan · kill Ma Su" reflect the elegant and dignified artistic features of Yang School; his singing "Si Jin Shi" and "Gan Lu Si" show the elegant and graceful artistic style of Ma school. He is also good at using different colors of voice to shape characters. In the modern play Shajiabang, he vividly portrays Diao Deyi, a KMT spy with gentle appearance and cunning heart. In 1991, he took part in the Spring Festival Gala Peking Opera Ensemble: selected passages from Ganlu temple.
At 16:10 on November 22, 2016, due to invalid medical treatment, he died in Beijing Friendship Hospital at the age of 86.
Acting works
From the late 1950s to the cultural revolution, Ma Changli was at the peak of his artistic career. At that time, his voice was clear and pure, and his lines were round and regular. Especially when he used "Sheng Yin", he was beautiful but not flowery, loud but not rigid, which had a strong artistic charm. At this stage, he mainly performed Tan and Yang's plays, such as Tan Mu Hui Ling, Da Tan ER and Wu Zixu, which started from Zhan Fan Cheng.
After the cultural revolution, Ma Changli performed more horse drama, such as "borrow Dongfeng", "ten old Anliu", "Ganlu Temple", "rouge baofold", "Zhao orphan", "a handful of snow" and so on, which satisfied the fans of horse drama.
Ma Changli is a very creative actor. He can give full play to the role of the performance on the basis of inheriting the predecessors, and has made great achievements. Before the cultural revolution, he played "Lu Jiachuan" in the modern drama "song of youth", played "Li Danian" as an underground Communist in "prairie beacon", played "Yang Zirong" in "Zhiqu laogangshan Diao", and played "Wen qijiuzi" in "Dujuan mountain", all of which were well received by the audience. As for his role as "Diao Deyi" in Shajiabang, he added a "glorious" image to the ranks of villains.
During the cultural revolution, in addition to playing Diao Deyi in Shajiabang, he also played Li Yuhe in red light, chief of staff in outwit tiger mountain and Ma Hongliang, an old worker in harbor. After the 1990s, Mr. Ma Changli moved to Hong Kong, but he was always concerned about the development of Peking Opera in the mainland. He often traveled between Hong Kong and the mainland, and enthusiastically guided young actors to inherit traditional opera. At the same time, he also went to the scene to guide and personally assist Beijing Opera lovers and Shanghai famous ticket Mr. Zhang Yu to organize actors and rehearse all of Shajiabang.
The road of Art
Mr. Ma Changli, who has the reputation of being a senior student in Liyuan, is now a national first-class actor in Beijing Peking opera academy. Mr. Ma is an old Beijing native. He was born in an ordinary family in the south of Beijing in the spring of 1930. Before the July 7th incident in 1937, Ma Changli, who was seven years old, was introduced to the famous Peking Opera "Rongchun society" class to study art. At the end of the period, he joined Liu Shengtong, a famous veteran of Yu school, and went on an extraordinary road to the peak of Peking Opera.
Good at tradition
At the beginning of the liberation, Ma Changli was in his prime. In order to further improve his art, he specially asked Mr. Ma Lianliang, one of the four famous Peking Opera talents, about his art. Mr. Ma, who has a good sense of talent, has long found that this is an art seedling that will become a great tool in the future. In the following 20 years, Mr. Ma, who had already been a master of Peking Opera, devoted himself to imparting his many masterpieces. At the same time, Mr. Tan Fuying, the third generation successor of the famous Tan School of Peking Opera, also saw Ma Changli's artistic talent and professional quality, and took the initiative to accept him as a disciple. Two famous pear garden masters accepted him as their apprentice at the same time, which became a "good story" of pear garden for a time.
Ma Changli was not satisfied with his endless pursuit of art. He asked the famous veteran artists Yang Baosen and Li Shaochun about art. At the same time, Mr. Xiao asked master Xi for advice.
As is known to all, Ma Changli's learning from Ma and zongtan is his real skill, but he especially likes another famous school of Peking Opera, Yang (Baosen) school. The "Yang School" was formed in the mid-1940s and matured in the early 1950s. Its main achievement lies in its distinctive singing style. Generally speaking, it is a new achievement created by Tan (Xinpei) and Yu (Shuyan). He tried to be steady and vigorous in his diction, which was praised by experts as "lingering sound, lasting for three days". Ma Changli was deeply touched by this, so he made such a profound comment on the Yang School: "Ma, Tan, Xi and Yang all taught me one after another, and Ma and Yang had the greatest influence on me. Although I have more energy to inherit the art of the Ma school, I have never forgotten the Yang School for many years. For example, the old dramas such as Wu Zixu, empty city plan, catching and releasing Cao and stele of Li Ling were all sung by Lu Zi of patriarchal Yang school. " It is the unique and memorable artistic style of Yang school that has always fascinated Mr. Ma Changli.
With the passage of time and constant stage experience, Ma Changli can easily perform the classic dramas of Ma school, such as Si Jin Shi, Shi Lao an Liu, Gan Lu Si, etc., and can also skillfully perform the famous dramas of Tan school, such as Wu Jia Po, FA men Si, er Jin gong, etc. He is more good at performing the representative plays of Yang school, such as lost empty chop, Wu Zixu and Sanjiadian. Save the field and take in the apprentices
In the early 1980s, Fang Rongxiang, a famous Peking opera performance artist of Qiu School of Shandong Peking Opera Troupe, was invited to perform in Hong Kong. The organizer also invited yuan Shihai, ye Shaolan, Liu Changyu, Zhang Chunhua, Zhang Xuejin and other Peking opera performance artists to perform in Hong Kong. When the news spread, the whole of Hong Kong immediately became a sensation, and the tickets were sold out.
Originally scheduled to perform on June 19, the shooting drama was "the meeting of heroes" starring Zhang Xuejin, an old student of the Ma school. But on the afternoon of June 18, an urgent telegram came from Beijing, and Zhang Xuejin suddenly ran into a car accident and couldn't perform as scheduled. There was a lot of discussion in the Peking Opera Troupe, the organizers were on pins and needles, and the leaders of the troupe were even more anxious. Finally, the troupe invited Mr. Ma Changli from Beijing to Hong Kong. After receiving the telegram, Mr. Ma did not hesitate to postpone other performances. He flew to Hong Kong on the afternoon of the 19th and arrived in the evening. Due to time constraints, only a short break, that is, clean face makeup. When the current host announced: "Mr. Zhang Xuejin had a car accident and invited Mr. Ma Changli to come to the rescue site", the audience immediately applauded.
Ma Changli's two performances in Hong Kong were a complete success. On the third day, Ma Changli played Kou Zhun in the book of honest and upright officials.
