Qi chao, male, from Linquan County, Anhui Province, Han nationality, was born in August 1962. He started work in July 1983 and joined the Communist Party of China in November 1988. He majored in economic management by correspondence from the Central Party school with a university degree.
At present, he is Secretary General of the Standing Committee of the fifth Fuyang people's Congress, Secretary of the Party group and director of Fuyang Transportation Bureau.

From July 1983 to February 1987, he was the electrical technician of Zhuzhuang Coal Mine of Huaibei Mining Bureau;
From February 1987 to May 1991, he was a member of the Labor Bureau of Fuyang administration;
From May 1991 to August 1994, he served as the deputy director of Fuyang labor safety and health monitoring station (during which he was assigned to work in Wuyue township of Linquan county from October 1989 to October 1991);

From December 2005 to April 2011, he served as deputy director and member of the Party group of Fuyang labor and Social Security Bureau (human resources and Social Security Bureau);
From April 2011 to April 2014, he served as Deputy Secretary of Jieshou Municipal Committee of CPC;
From April 2014 to March 2017, he served as deputy director of the United Front Work Department of Fuyang municipal Party committee, secretary and director of the Party group of Fuyang Municipal Ethnic Affairs Committee (bureau of Religious Affairs), and member of the Standing Committee of Fuyang municipal CPPCC;
In March 2017, he served as director of Fuyang Transportation Bureau.
In January 2021, Secretary General of the Standing Committee of the Fifth People's Congress of Fuyang City.

On March 17, 2017, the first meeting of the Standing Committee of the fifth Fuyang people's Congress approved the appointment of Qi chao as the director of Fuyang Transportation Bureau.
On January 22, 2021, the fifth session of the fifth Fuyang people's Congress elected Qi chao as Secretary General of the Standing Committee of the fifth Fuyang people's Congress.
