Zhong Lingling
Zhong Lingling (1949 -), whose foreign name is Betty Chung and real name is Zhong Zhaowei, was born in Hong Kong. She was a famous singer in Hong Kong in the 1970s. She was also a pillar singer in the early days of wireless.
Early experience
Zhong Lingling has shot Bruce Lee's "fight for the dragon" and Li Xiuxian's "dangkouzhi". Ling Ling Chung was a leading female singer in Hong Kong. She often appeared on "happy tonight" and large-scale TV programs.
Acting experience
In 1963, he took part in the amateur singing competition in Hong Kong and won the champion of Ouxi song group. Three years later, he was signed by EMI and began recording. Her songs include Western songs and Mandarin era songs, but most Mandarin songs are adapted from western songs. Although she was very popular, there was no famous song in this period. In the 1970s, she sang the theme song "heart has thousands of knots" (1977 / crown) for TVB TV series. Although the song is Cantonese, it has become her representative work. However, Zhong Lingling always focuses on singing Western songs. Later, when the last cabaret style nightclub "Belle Palace" opened in Hong Kong, she became the first resident singer, and she also married Chris Babida bobida. In recent years, there is little news about her. In the early 1970s, her elder sister, Zhong Xiaowei, was the weather reporter of TVB. My older friend must be impressed.
Zhong Lingling's singing style is quite westernized, so it's natural to perform Mandarin songs, but it's strange that her songs are rarely included in EMI's collection of old songs. There are two albums, miss I and baby action, in the 1960s
