Pan Yaoming, pen names Yan Huo and AI Huo, was born in February 1948 in Nan'an County, Fujian Province. He is a writer, writer and publisher in Hong Kong, China.

At present, he is the general manager of Ming Pao publishing house, Ming Chuang publishing house and Ming Pao Monthly, the executive president of the Hong Kong Writers' Association, a member of the Chinese writers' Association and an art consultant of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.

As a child, pan Yaoming "looked forward to the outside world.". It was his father who satisfied his son's desire to see the world. In the late 1950s, his father, who went to the Philippines in Nanyang, applied for his wife and son from the barren mountain village of Nan'an, Fujian Province, to the metropolis of Hong Kong. That year, he was 10 years old.

In the skyscrapers of Hong Kong, he and his mother's living space, not even a window, can only put down a wardrobe and a bunk bed. Hardship became a catalyst for his efforts. When he entered middle school, he began to set up a literary society. Pan Yaoming, who was interested in literary creation, went out of middle school and entered the noon news. Pan Yaoming initiated, planned and organized the unprecedented Chinese tourism literature essay competition jointly sponsored by six organizations in Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, newspapers, magazines and universities. Later, he also worked in the literary magazine ocean literature and art, which provided him with many conveniences to study Chinese writers. When he visited the mainland many times, he met with Ba Jin and many other famous contemporary writers. He wrote visit notes one after another and reported overseas. On this basis, in the early 1980s, he published a literature review collection of 500000 words, the style and features of contemporary Chinese writers. Pan Yaoming started his literary creation in the early 1970s, and has published more than 20 books in Chinese mainland, Hongkong and Taiwan. And many awards. Several important opportunities have had a great impact on his career development: he entered the Hong Kong Sanlian bookstore and rose from deputy director of the Department to vice president of the board of directors; he was invited to participate in Iowa's "international writing program" and went to New York University to study publishing and magazine Science with a master's degree; he was employed by Jin Yong, a famous journalist and novelist, and entered the Ming Pao system. In 1991, Mr. Jin Yong, who had no personal contact, suddenly called pan Yaoming to meet him through the famous writer Dong Qiao. When he arrived at Jin Yong's office building, Jin Yong didn't say much, so he wrote down the letter of appointment on the spot and hired him as the general manager of Ming Pao Monthly. Ming Pao Monthly was founded and edited by Jin Yong. Later, seven or eight editors, including Hu Juren and Dong Qiao, were famous. Under their management, the magazine has established a high academic level and cultural taste. Pan Yaoming was surprised and moved by his unexpected employment. Although he didn't resign from Sanlian bookstore at that time, he signed the contract on the spot without hesitation.

As a famous newspaperman, Jin Yong does not hesitate to entrust pan Yaoming with the famous magazines he has devoted himself to. His professional training and excellent performance in the publishing industry, his broad international vision and rich network resources are all the reasons why Jin Yong likes them. In the mid-1990s, Jin Yong sold Ming Pao, and then he became the managing director and general manager of Jin Yong's Ming He Publishing Co., Ltd. Before long, he went back to Ming Pao, which had changed its boss, edited Ming Pao Monthly again, and served as the general manager of Ming Pao publishing house and Ming window publishing house.

In addition, in order to promote the construction and development of literature, he planned many literary activities. In particular, he planned and organized the essay solicitation activities of "World Chinese literature report" and "World Chinese Tourism Literature", which brought the prosperity of World Chinese literature creation into his cultural ideal and practice.
