Dong Jintang, male, born in 1942, graduated from the performance major of PLA Academy of art. During the semester, he excellently created the image of Lei Feng in the film Lei Feng. After the film was released, it aroused strong repercussions and received high praise all over the country. Since then, he has successfully directed TV series such as "Yang Sanjie complains". Later transferred to Tianjin TV as director.

Synopsis

Lei Feng is the leader of a transportation department of the Chinese people's Liberation Army and an excellent Communist Party member. At the invitation of the nearby school, he worked as an extracurricular counselor for young pioneers and told them about his miserable childhood in the old society. The students were moved by Lei Feng's tragic experience and deeply educated at the same time. Lei Feng grasped every bit of time, eagerly read Chairman Mao's works, earnestly understood and studied Mao Zedong thought, put the idea of serving the people wholeheartedly into practice, and did good deeds for the people wherever he went without leaving his name. On the way to see a doctor, he took the initiative to deliver bricks and tiles to the construction site; in the pouring rain, he walked a muddy path to escort a rural woman home; he quietly sent money to the mother of his comrades in arms who were living in difficulties at home; in order to support the disaster area, he donated 100 yuan from his meager allowance.
