Song Yuefeng, born in Shanghai in 1981, studied western art since childhood and graduated from the Visual Communication Department of Shanghai Institute of design, China Academy of fine arts. Since 2000, due to the influence of his friends, song Yuefeng has been in contact with personal animation and digital graphics (CG) art in the University, and began to engage in related creation. CG art can realize rich art forms and change people's life style, which makes him obsessed and spend almost all of his spare time in college life. However, as a person with an art background rather than a drama background, to master and engage in this skill, he groped hard step by step under the spur of his idol's tortuous growth experience. in order to finally embark on the road of originality, song Yuefeng set up a production company after graduation, making advertisements and special effects while constantly trying to be original. From 2000 to 2005, song Yuefeng created a series of works, such as behind the stage, under the sun, portrait, 2102 construction site, private collection, angel, etc. Since 2002, he has been making original short films. Since 2003, he has been accumulating works in the field of commercial creation. In 2008, he became the director of the animated film fairway. on July 31, 2014, the 3D animated film "valley of the Dragon: the dawn Raider" directed by song Yuefeng was released. In the production process of this film, he gave up the original creation when facing the animation film with high investment requirements, and tried to adapt "valley of the dragon". With the participation of Hollywood filmmakers, the film production has changed from the director centered system of domestic films to the producer centered system of Hollywood. In the collision of production teams, some ideas that foreigners can't understand have been eliminated, and the story has been greatly adjusted. Song: specific opportunities do not exist. The idea of setting up a studio stems from my impression of the industry: when I took five stills and a cooperative short film to the first ccgf, my overall impression of the industry was young, just like me. Under such an overall impression, I felt that I had the opportunity to work with my friends after a period of internship in Shanghai cartoon Built cube unit studio. Cube unit is basically formed out of sensibility and conceit. Conceit is not creative, but as an operator. In fact, due to administrative problems, cube unit was dissolved one year after its registration. It was dissolved after Kuku bear was shortlisted for the best short film of 2004 CGF and silver storm won the best visual effect Award of ccgf. I am deeply touched by the breakup of the team and the loss of staff. Some things are not controlled by the creation, and everyone has his own ideas. When the contradictions can not be coordinated, things will develop to regret. Similar things have happened to the teams I know. How can we know the extent of disaster in a blessing in disguise? The experience of frustration is a kind of wealth. If you feel something, you will get something. My team: cavalry animation, has been established for one year. This establishment is based on the exploration and rational operation of the industry. Several of our operators are from different majors and have their own advantages. We hope to make a breakthrough in summing up the experience of failure. To say whether we are satisfied or not, we should say that the customers with good performance and service are all very good. But I think, including other people, we must not be satisfied. We have just made a good start. We will all strive to be satisfied.
