1. In December 2002, he won the 2002 Best Newcomer Award of "music pioneer list" jointly sponsored by Guangdong People's Radio and other 50 radio stations and Guangdong TV station. 2. In November 2003, his singing song "hometown ballad" (composed by funk and lyrics by Xiaodong) won the "Best New Creation Award" in the second Chinese folk song competition of Guangxi Nanning International Folk Song Art Festival sponsored by China Musicians Association in 2003.
