Early experience

In 2002, Chen Hongyu got his first guitar in his life and began to contact with music. In 2004, influenced by beyond, tie Niangzi and nirvana, Chen Hongyu formed the "liushang band" with several classmates in high school. At the same time, Chen Hongyu also began to write songs. In 2005, Chen Hongyu created his first original song. In the same year, he launched the band's first music album "liushang" with liushang band. Chen Hongyu studied in Inner Mongolia Normal University, majoring in news editing and production. In 2010, after graduating from University, Chen Hongyu chose to work in Beijing, and his work was related to marketing, publicity and consulting. After that, he decided to do what he liked, so he began to become an independent musician.

Acting experience

In 2015, Chen Hongyu founded the music organization "zhongyueji"; later, he began to collect lyrics from Xiami musicians, and became a partner with Tang Yingfeng to jointly create the folk song "ideal thirty days"; in the same year, he launched his individual single "Xingge" and "ideal thirty days", which were included in the collection of "zhongyueji I · Mingcheng Xingge"; on July 7 of the same year, Chen Hongyu officially began to sing in the song Letong.com plans to make its first personal album "poetry radio under the thick smoke", which is an independent album composed entirely by him, and the lyrics of all the tracks of the album are created by Tang Yingfeng.

On March 6, 2017, he released his second personal music album "as young as you are", which included seven songs including "returning home", "eating", etc.; on July 20, he won the best rookie of the year award of the first CMA Music Award Ceremony of the singing Committee, and the album "poetry radio under the smoke" won the best Folk Album award.

On January 17, 2018, his song "as young as you are" won the top ten singles award of 2017 Netease cloud music original grand ceremony; on March 12, he released his third original album "and the wilderness"; later, he held a "and the wilderness" concert tour; in August, he was also selected into Forbes China's "30 elites under the age of 30" (music field).

On January 30, 2019, the song "the nearest way to my home", which was sung by Hao Mei Mei, Jiao Maiqi and Liang Xiaoxue, went online.

On October 31, 2020, Chen Hongyu sang the song "ideal 30 days" in the CCTV music program "top moment of glory".
