Early experience
In 1995, Li Zhi bought his first guitar. Since then, he has played guitar in his dormitory every night. In 1996, Li Zhi took part in the senior three evening party and played and sang Shen Qing's song youth. In 1997, Li Zhi was admitted to Southeast University. In 1998, Li Zhi began to compose music. In the summer of 1999, Li Zhi dropped out of Dongda and went to Beijing, where he wandered in piano shops and bars. However, because he did not adapt to the environment of Beijing, he soon returned to Nanjing.
Acting experience
In December 2004, he released his first personal music album "taboo Games", which includes eight songs including "black envelope", "red balloon" and so on.
In December 2005, he released his second personal music album, Mr. Van Gogh, which included eight songs, including "you left Nanjing, no one spoke to me from now on", "southern city at the end of spring", etc.

In 2007, he held a national tour concert of "going to drink"; in November of the same year, Li Zhi came to Chengdu tavern to perform, and then he began to live and work in Chengdu.

On November 13, 2014, he released his seventh personal music album 1701, which included eight songs including Dingxi and Rehe.
On January 19, 2015, with the album "1701", he was shortlisted for the "fourth abilu Music Award" annual Folk Album; on April 13, 2015, he released his original single "how is the world fair 2015"; in the same year, he held a "see" national tour concert.

Li Zhi's songs are not gorgeous, artificial or repetitive. There are only light tones and occasional indignation in his songs. Li Zhi's folk humor and artistic feelings are presented in the original part of the album. His Chinese vocabulary system is a mixture of 80's poetry, 90's rock music and 00's cyberspace. Although it is trivial, it is not complicated. He has a market ideal, but he is not willing to give up artistic speculation. His lyrics exude the sour smell of narcissism.
