He is a Pipa soloist of Shenyang Qianjin song and dance troupe, a national first-class performer, and a visiting professor in the South Campus of Shenyang Conservatory of music. He is the executive director, deputy secretary general, director of performance department and vice president of Pipa Professional Committee of Liaoning National Orchestra Association.

In 1987, he won the first National Art Festival, the golden cup award for military literature and art performance and the excellent performance award respectively; in 1989, he won the second prize for individual performance of the sixth military literature and art performance; in 1993, he won the second prize for Tianshan love, the third national folk music exhibition and creative work, and the excellent individual performance award; in 1995, he won the new work award of Huaxia cup national musical instrument competition; in 1999, he won the seventh military literature and art performance The first prize of individual performance and the second prize of creation for Pipa and zhongruan Concerto Manjianghong.

He has visited Italy, Japan, Myanmar, Malaysia, Hong Kong and other countries and regions to perform. His students have been admitted to the central China Conservatory of music, the PLA Academy of art, the Central Conservatory of folk music and Shenyang Conservatory of music.
