Congee with Minced Pork and Preserved Egg
Introduction:
"The well-known preserved egg and lean meat porridge is one of my favorite porridge. I like preserved eggs and lean meat in porridge. I cook a big pot each time and drink enough at a time
Production steps:
Step 1: cut the pork into small pieces.
Step 2: peel, wash and cut the preserved egg into small pieces.
Step 3: wash the rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes.
Step 4: Boil the soaked rice with proper amount of water and pork over high heat.
Step 5: cover and turn to low heat for 30 minutes.
Step 6: put in the preserved egg again.
Step 7: cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 8: put in onion and ginger powder and mix well. Turn off the heat.
Materials required:
Rice: 75g
Pork: 50g
Preserved eggs: 2
Scallion: right amount
Ginger: right amount
Salt: right amount
Note: it's best to soak the rice before cooking.
