Production steps:
Step 1: raw material drawing;
Step 2: wash the hawthorn, remove impurities and rotten fruit, then cut it into two parts, remove the core and pedicel, as long as the flesh part;
Step 3: put the Hawthorn meat in the pot, add sugar, mix well, and let it stand for half an hour to release pectin;

Step 5: after decompressing, open the lid, stir with a spoon until all the Hawthorn pulp melts into mud, turn off the electricity, if you make Hawthorn sauce, continue to boil until it is thick, but if you make fruit peel and hawthorn cake, you need to filter to make the taste more delicate;
Step 6: take a clean screen and filter the Hawthorn mud to remove the skin dregs;
Step 7: after screening, the Hawthorn mud is very delicate;
Step 8: pour the Hawthorn puree into the pot again, continue to heat, add a spoonful of maltose, and stir until it dissolves;
Step 9: Boil while stirring, must keep stirring, so as not to paste the pot, boil until the water is dry, very viscous, hawthorn sauce is ready, can be bottled.
Step 10: to make hawthorn cake, take a clean mold and brush a thin layer of oil on the inner wall of the mold to facilitate the easy demoulding of hawthorn cake;
Step 11: scoop the Hawthorn sauce into the mold evenly, scrape it flat, place it for 1-2 hours, and wait for the Hawthorn cake to solidify; (it's better to do this step in one step, this time it's not smooth enough, when I finish the first time, I find that there is still some sauce left, and then add it, but because the Hawthorn sauce is very thick, the surface will solidify, and it can't be scraped flat).
Step 12: after the Hawthorn cake solidifies, gently take out the mold, so the Hawthorn cake is ready, and you can enjoy it with honey.
