Steaming broom seedlings
Introduction:
"Ku: three tones, Lei: light tone" is a special snack in Hebei Province, which is between staple food and dish. Poor people in old China couldn't afford to buy vegetables, and they didn't have enough staple food. They often steamed Huaihua, Yuqian, yecai and Bangzi noodles together. When they were out of the pot, they mixed seasonings while they were hot, so they could serve as both vegetables and staple food. It was named Ku Lei to show that it was a bitter meal. Now there are old people's families and some special restaurants in Hebei Province. They often suffer from hardship and fatigue, but most of them use potatoes, beans and fennel instead of wild vegetables. This food used to be enough for the poor to live through famine. Now rich people eat moistening and dryness, clearing stomach and intestines. Broom seedling: a kind of wild vegetable. Fresh stems and leaves are edible, fresh stems and leaves, fruits and seeds can be used as medicine. When the stem is old, it can be used as a broom. Tender stems and leaves can be steamed, fried, cold, soup, etc. The fruit is sweet in taste, cold in nature, beneficial to urination, and clear away dampness and heat. Seeds called Kochia, can treat cystitis, urethritis. Tender stems and leaves are called Kochia seedlings, which have the effects of clearing away heat, detoxification and diuresis. "
Production steps:
Step 1: clean the fresh broom seedlings and control them to dry slightly.
Step 2: add a little salt and grasp well by hand. No need to put more, just a little salty. I also added some concentrated chicken juice. It's delicious.
Step 3: sift in some corn flour and flour. It's healthier to add some roughage. If you don't like it, you can only add flour.
Step 4: turn up and down with your hands, grasp well, add flour as appropriate, until almost all the leaves are covered with a thin layer of powder.
Step 5: pour into the steamer and steam over high heat for 10 minutes.
Step 6: after steaming, you can eat it directly or dip it in a sauce. My family likes to pound some mashed garlic, add some vinegar, and finally point a few drops of sesame oil ~ quite simple taste!
