Braised spareribs with pumpkin
Introduction:
"Huaishan, also known as yam, is commonly used in Guangdong, including purple yam, iron stick yam and glutinous rice yam. Yam has the functions of invigorating spleen and stomach, tonifying spleen and stomach, benefiting essence, calming nerves, hemostasis, helping digestion, prolonging life, treating weakness of spleen and stomach, invigorating stomach and spleen, etc. Pumpkin has the effect of beauty, hypoglycemia, tonifying qi and weight loss. Near my home, there is a chain restaurant specializing in pork tripe and chicken soup. There is a signature snack called "auspicious three treasures" in the restaurant, which is a shredded platter made of pumpkin, yam and sweet potato. It tastes really good and can be seen at almost every table. Several times I went there to have dinner with my sisters. When I ordered, I always asked for the auspicious three treasures... Chinese yam, pumpkin and spareribs stewed together is a Cantonese dish, and the taste is also very good. If you are interested, you can try it
Production steps:
Step 1: chop the spareribs into small sections, wash and drain the water, add salt and chicken powder, stir well, marinate for about 20 minutes.
Step 2: remove the skin of yam and wash it. It's better to wear disposable gloves when removing the skin of yam. Some people will be allergic to that layer of mucus, resulting in redness and itching of their hands. The most direct way is to ask the market man to peel the skin when purchasing, and then wash it at home.
Step 3: peel and smash garlic, peel and wash pumpkin, and cut into thick slices. Yam is also cut into thick slices.
Step 4: heat the pan and pour some oil. Saute the marinated spareribs.
Step 5: fry the spareribs until brown on both sides, pour down the garlic and saute until fragrant.
Step 6: pour in the pumpkin and stir fry for a while.
Step 7: add yam and stir fry for about 1 minute.
Step 8: add about half a bowl of water.
Step 9: mix salt and chicken powder.
Step 10: pour in the oyster sauce.
Step 11: stir well, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes
Step 12: cook until the soup is thick.
