"Feitao" is the general name of Maonan people's activities such as vowing, which prevailed in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. At the beginning, it was Maonan people's ritual of offering sacrifices to all natural things with the help of Nuo. In the process of inheritance, it integrated Maonan people's oral literature, folk songs, drama, dance, music, percussion music and other artistic elements into a rich folk activity. Its songs, dances, music, plays and other art forms bear the good wishes of Maonan people to pray for the nation's endless growth and prosperity in the coming year. It is not only the historical witness of Maonan's development, but also the precious heritage of Maonan's traditional culture.
