Fengbang tailor is a tailor Gang formed in Shanghai at the beginning of the 20th century. It is famous for making Seiko men's clothes (suit, Zhongshan suit, overcoat, etc.). They have changed the form of traditional Chinese men's clothes, and are closer to urban life in function and aesthetics. Fengbang tailor is an integral part of Shanghai style clothing culture and occupies an important position in modern Chinese clothing history.

At first, Fengbang tailors served foreigners at docks and foreign ships. In order to distinguish them from the traditional Chinese tailors, they were called "Hongbang tailors". Among them, most of them were Fenghua people, so they were also called "Fengbang tailors". In the 1930s and 1940s, Fengbang's tailors opened clothing stores all over Shanghai. They specialized in Seiko men's clothing and became the pillar of Shanghai's garment industry. Among them, "pelomon" was the outstanding representative of Fengbang.

Xu Dachang, the founder of peiluomeng clothing store, was born in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province in 1895. He came to Shanghai as an apprentice at the beginning of the 20th century. After he was fully trained, he opened Xu Dachang's suit store on Nanjing Road in 1919. He registered the trademark of "peiluomeng" in 1928 and relocated to peiluomeng's suit store in 1934.

Since the 1990s, peromon's Fengbang tailoring technique has formed its own characteristics in quantity, calculation, trial, design, cutting, sewing and other crafts. It is second to none in the industry and has become the leader and outstanding representative of Seiko men's clothing.

Because of its profound historical accumulation, peromon became the first batch of "time-honored Chinese enterprises".
