Korean is a sports loving people, springboard and swing are Korean women's favorite folk traditional sports, with a wide range of mass.

As a kind of athletic game, springboard is popular in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture of Jilin Province and other Korean inhabited areas in China. Springboard activities are generally held on festive days such as Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid Autumn Festival.

Springboards are generally nearly 6 meters long, 40 cm wide and about 5 cm thick. Most of them are made of hard and elastic Fraxinus mandshurica wood. There is a fulcrum in the middle of the springboard. When they jump, they stand at both ends respectively, take off in turn, and use the rebound force of the springboard to bounce themselves and the other side into the air. So repeatedly up and down, the participants strive to jump up, constantly increase the height of the air and make a variety of tricks. Springboard emphasizes a variety of skills and posture in the air, such as jumping up and rolling down, body bending, legs extending and landing vertical, chest straightening, arms extending, legs spreading and landing closing. The springboard depends on the coordination and cooperation of two people. Sometimes we dance and sing, one by one and the other.

There are two kinds of springboard competition: drawing line higher and performance skills. Draw line is the total length of the drawn line. The winning or losing depends on the length of draw line. Performance props include hoops, wreaths, etc. This kind of competition is mainly to compare whose movements are most in line with the standard, whose movements are more difficult and whose movements are graceful. In recent years, on the basis of the previous high-altitude competition, competition skills have been added to see who makes more difficult movements in the moment of flying, and the posture is beautiful and moving. Swing is one of the most favorite activities of Korean women. It has a long history and is popular in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture and other Korean villages.

Swing activity has the characteristics of high, floating, leisurely, skillful, soft, beautiful and happy. The swing rope is usually tied to the strong transverse branches of tall trees, and there are ribbons or bells hanging above the front of the swing. Only when the swing board touches this sign can it win cheers and praise. It's often one person, people's attention, cheers on the sidelines. The gorgeous dress is like the wings of a colorful Phoenix, driving the breeze. From a distance, the sky is blue and the grass is green. The Korean girls with heavy makeup are like flying colorful butterflies, floating in the sky, forming a flowing magnificent painting.

Large scale swing competitions are more attractive. They are usually held during the leisure time and the Dragon Boat Festival. At that time, Korean women will wear festival costumes to participate in the competition. There are two ways to compete: one is to compare the height of the swing, the other is to compare the number of kicking the bell, that is, to compare the endurance. In the competition, you can often see a leather drum hanging in the sky. The girls on the swing are waving high in the cheers of the onlookers. They kick the drum with their feet in the air. Whoever kicks the drum the most times will become the champion of the competition.

Swing has been officially included in the National Games, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture swing stunt has become a traditional minority sports garden in full bloom.
