Jiangzhou drum music originated in the historical and cultural city of Xinjiang. Xinjiang is located in the southwest of Shanxi, the north of Yuncheng and the south of Luliang Mountain. It is the intersection of Shanxi, Shaanxi and Henan. It has always played an important role in politics, culture and economy. It is said that Jiangzhou drum music originated in the pre Qin Dynasty and flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. According to Zhili's Jiangzhou annals, "when I was old, I was in the country.
