Wenzhou Guci is a kind of folk art popular in Wenzhou and its adjacent areas of Zhejiang Province, commonly known as "libretto". In the past, most of the artists were blind, so they were also called "blind words" or "blind words". It is performed in Wenzhou dialect, with strong local color and unique artistic style, which has been spread in the middle of Qing Dynasty.

The performance form of Wenzhou Guci is alternate between speaking and singing. The singing music is in banqiang style, and the basic tune is "yindiao". The rhythm is neat, catchy, and the Banque style is rich. Its performance is mainly in the form of one person's "single file" (also in the form of husband and wife, brother and sister, apprentice and so on), and the actors play the ox tendon Qin to accompany the rap. Since the 1970s, there has been a combination performance of more than three people.

Known successors of Wenzhou Guci are baimensong, a guanger, Mao Xingfa and Chen Changde in the Qing Dynasty, Cao daiqing, Chen renlian, Li Qingxin, Li Limu, Bai Xiangzhen and Wang akun in the Republic of China, and Guan Huashan, Ruan Shichi, Zheng Mingqin, Ding Lingsheng, Chen Zhixiong, Fang Keduo, Xu Yuyan and Lin Xiuzhen since the founding of the people's Republic of China. Wenzhou has a profound accumulation of Guci art, and there are many traditional programs, including the Myth theme of "journey to the South" and "Fengshen", the case of Baogong, the history theme of "Zhengdong" and "Zhengxi", the world theme of "twelve red" and "eight beautiful pictures", the martial arts theme of "seven swordsmen and five righteousness" and "seven swordsmen and thirteen swordsmen", etc Guerrillas, Xiao erhei's marriage, Qiuxiang love society, etc.

Since the beginning of the 21st century, the development of Wenzhou Guci is facing difficulties. There are few performances and the successors are cut off, so it is in urgent need of protection.
